Professional Shredder, Slicer, Chopper, Scissor and Peeler by Prosmart

This is the best mandolin I have ever owned. It will slice right thru a russet potato and carrots with ease. I used it last night to slice yellow squash and zucchini, it was like slicing through butter. The Julienne blade works wonderful too. A word to the wise or unwise in my case, be extremely careful, while washing it I accidently drop it in the sink, with a normal reaction I tried to catch it without thinking, the blade hit my finger nail, sliced right thru it into the nail bed. I had a chuck of my nail gone for a couple of weeks. The blade is extremely sharp. I highly recommend this mandolin if you are a careful type but if you are klutzy and accident prone, you might want to stay away.

What's so good about this, is that the blades are contained within the shredder. I had a very good shredder , which was around the same size as this one, but had to change the blades each time I used it. That was a pain. I also have the shredding accessories for my Kitchen Aid. but frankly that's an ordeal to set up and it doesn't pay to do it for just a potato or two. . When I saw this shredder at a demo, I knew it was far superior to the ones I had. It really makes a difference not to have to deal with changing blades, or even having to store them. It is so simple to use, I don't mind taking it out even for one carrot. This works like a charm. Shreds very well, and is easy to use. I've had this for over a year, and love using it. I liked it so much I bought some extra ones for gifts.

Saw a dude doing a live demo of these in Walmart. I walked away from the display table with two. I'm glad I checked Amazon before I checked out, because saved $40 buying here. The product is fantastic and I'll be buying more of these as gifts. A little cheap feeling because it's lightweight, but it gets the job done perfectly. Sliced onions and tomatoes today in half the time and they were evenly cut! I will say that the "shears" that come with them really suck though. They're not nearly as good as they claim. All in all, A+

Was looking for an all in one slicer. Decided on this one because it was all one piece and didn't have to swap out blades. When I received it in the mail I was disappointed because it was missing the scissors and the veggie holder. I sadly had to return it. It seemed like a well built gadget.

I saw this product in a demo at Walmart. I bought it that day, but immediately returned it since it was $15 cheaper on Amazon. I just received this slicer an hour ago and couldn't wait to try it out. My husband and I were extremely impressed at how well and how easy it works. Would definitely recommend! Some people say they got cut, but if you use the safety handle as intended.. That won't happen. To cut the very end of the product push down on the safety handle button once you've come to the end of the veggie and can't go any further. It does what I want it to do. It isn't smooth when you turn the dial, but I've discovered if I lift the plate (the upper surface you slide the food down--it'll make sense if you get one) up while I turn the dial it moves better.It's nice and sharp, though, and is quick and easy to work with, which is exactly what I wanted! It has a piece under the blade that I think is designed to slide the slices forward, but I think it would be a dangerous nightmare to clean if you let food sit and dry on it. But I always wash it right after I use it, so it hasn't been an issue. Just clean it right after using, or beware.

I rated this only 1 star. It doesn't deserve any stars at all. The product is made so incredibly cheap. Mine came without the crucial Safety Holder. You are to never begin chopping either vegetable or fruit without placing it in the Safety Holder. Also the knob to change blade setting is very hard to turn, it broke the underside blade cover immediately. The Instructions & Recipes was a very poor quality photo copy. What a complete rip off. Thankful I ordered mine through Amazon. Amazon refunded the money promptly.

This is awesome! We make so many more things now than we would have before. Slicing tomatoes is a breeze. We even used it to skin a pineapple. The lifetime warranty lets you move forward without worry. It's fantastic to do fries and such with it. The cheese grater is very difficult to use though, but the mandolin is excellent.
