Trumoter Genuine Leather Cast Iron Pot Handle Cover, Double Layered Heat Resistant Pan Holder for Cast Iron Skillets

I bought a set of these after trying a silicon version from another seller. I like these a lot better. They go on more easily and give me more control when I pick up the pan. Some reviewers complained that they don't block the heat all the way. They're probably right. Use a big fat mitt when you need that level of insulation. And don't put one in the oven or under the broiler. It will probably burn. These provide enough protection from the heat that I can do almost anything I want with my pan while I am cooking. If the pan is very hot and I need to carry it across the room, I use a heavy mitt or pot holder. But for quicker maneuvers, it's perfect. Any time I remove a hot cast iron pan from the stove, I make sure I put one of these the handle. It does a great job of keeping people from accidentally touching a hot handle.

It's fine. Does the job of preventing me from burning myself, so that's good. Reason I'm taking away a star is that it's not very snug fitting, so I have to grip extra strong when lifting up the skillet to make sure I don't drop it. It also shifts in my hand and isn't super comfortable.

Overall decent. When that skillet gets really hot the heat come through the leather but if you’re only moving the skillet from the oven to the stovetop it’s ok. But much longer than that it does get hot. But overall it gets the job done.

Purchased a similar higher priced product that we loved. We have and use multiple cast iron skillets and found it was inconvenient to move the handle from one skillet to the next. We decided to purchase leather handle covers for all of our cast iron skillets. Chose to try this brand because of the lower cost. So glad we did! These handles are even better than the more expensive handles. They are pliable so it is easy to grasp yet thick enough to protect your hands from the heat. Highly recommend for anyone that regularly uses cast iron.

This wasn’t quite what I was looking for (something to use when cooking) but it works well as a stylish handle when serving or cooking something quick on the stove.

Cast iron pan handle holder works great it’s thin enough to slide on most handles I bought the set and gave one to a friend as a gift. Keeps the heat to a minimum so it’s comfortable to touch the handle while cooking. Seems like good construction nice stitching and should be pretty durable.

When they arrived I was a little disappointed at how thin the leather is and thought they would not do well as a result, but I was quite mistaken. They are great, because they are thin they easily wrap around and conform to any handle you put them on. They protect from the heat beautifully!

This was EXACTLY what we were looking for this Christmas season! The leather handles look great, feel nice and thick, and are very easy to hold. Keep your hands safe and they look good while doing it!
