Grande Hand Dyed 100 Baby Alpaca Yarn 27

I ordered this yarn somewhat in a hurry because I wanted to have it for a cross-country road trip. So I basically didn't have too much time to "shop". I am so very pleased with the high quality of this yarn. I used a pattern supplied by Plymouth Yarn to make a cowl to wear in cold temperatures over a sweater or to cover my neck area when wearing an open neckline. I'm always afraid of itchy, scratchy yarns. Not this one! As soft as can be and could easily be used for a baby project. The only downside I had was some shedding in our car as we drove. I did need to run the sweeper when we got home because I had some shedding on the black carpet. Possibly because I did not have a large area to take the shanks and roll them into balls. I wore the cowl for a few hours the other day around the house and know for certain it's extremely soft and is not shedding onto my clothing. It was only during the handling of the yarn. I will surely purchase yarn from Plymouth Yarns in the future.

I am happy to say the order arrived faster than I expected. This yarn is so soft and easy to work with. There was not 1 knot in the skeins and balling the yarn was simple once i laid it out in a ring. I am definitely going to order this again.
