Awesomesauce!
Best sauce I have ever had. This is hands down my entire familys favorite sauce. We can't even eat other brands now. It is salty, not sweet. Whoever said it tasted like ketchup is out of their mind and I want to know what ketchup they been eating... it is very creamy and light. There NO overwhelming taste of tomato, peppers, or onions or Italian seasonings. I can see why some may think its bland but for people like me and my family who hate peppers and onions and Italian seasonings this sauce is a blessing. Please don't ever change the recipe or stop making it!!

Loved it
I know it sounds crazy, especially after all these terrible reviews, but I loooove this sauce! It is thick and has a tomato paste like taste. I love that I could add anything I wanted too. I just added garlic powder & oregano. Then when done, topped it with Parmesean cheese and Feta cheese. It was awesome. Definitely will be buying again.

This is a mild vodka Tomato CREAM sauce (calling this marinara seems misleading)
Arrived 8/31/20 undamaged with best by date 05/26/2022. By design this is a very smooth creamy sauce with a very mellow flavor. This isn't a cheese thickened sauce, it isn't a hearty garden style sauce, nor a heavily seasoned sauce. My biggest problem with this product is what it's called. To me this is a Mild Vodka Tomato Cream Sauce (OK the sellers detailed description properly calls it "Amazon Brand - Happy Belly Vodka Cream Pasta Sauce" but the 1st image of the front of bottle is "VODKA MARINARA PASTA SAUCE"). This doesn't represent a marinara sauce at all; I'd expect olive oil (not soybean oil), no heavy cream, vodka instead of wine is fine, but this completely lacks distinguishable herb flavors (no oregano, basil, capers, etc). There are no hearty vegetables in this. Essentially this is creamed onions, blended into tomato paste, adding food starch (to thicken) and vodka and reduced down. If the front bottle label was called Vodka tomato cream pasta sauce it would be spot on. Classifying this as marinara sauce is just asking for lots of low star reviews, as its not what you'd expect from a marinara sauce.

Dang went to buy more and it's out of stock
I have been buying Solimo for a while. Now it looks like the name has moved to Happy Belly. I have purchased a few Happy Belly things and LOVE everything I have tried. The price is so much better. The flavor is good and I like the packaging.

Marinara Sauce - not thick enough
The taste is OK... Rather not as good for the money as the low price. It's more like generic spaghetti sauce. I usually dip pizza crust or garlic bread. So, What I did was - add diced tomatoes. That did the trick pretty well. It still wasn't that great quality, what you might get in a restaurant.

Name brand quality for half the price!
This tastes better than a value brand for the same price! Thickness, taste and texture are no point! Better than lots of name brands for less than their price! Highly recommended!
