Crazy Aaron’s Thinking Putty (1.6 oz) Precious Metals Pure Platinum Sparkle Putty - Never Dries Out

All of Crazy Aaron's thinking puttys are so much fun. My kids enjoy collecting them. Even the ones we bought several years ago are still soft and playable. This metallic putty is unlike the others we have. We started buying them from our local toystore. Now, I buy from Amazon because there is a bigger selection of putty cans.Now, about this particular putty-Silver metallic. The color is so pretty. I think I like the ruby and sapphire better but this one is still great.The metallic putty has less putty than the other types. The amount you get is still ample for lots of play. It can be stretched or snapped. Always store this in the can. It won't dry out (in our experience) if left out but it can damage the surface it was left on. I now have some on my couch and I cannot get it out.

I like how this feels and my kids do also. I like that it doesn't stick to your hands. If you hold it in your hand, it does get warm and stickier, but if you keep it moving, it doesn't stick to your hand. I don't mind that it's hard to get out of the can. It comes out fairly easily considering that it completely settles into the can after every use. It seems like it's too expensive for what it is, but at the same time, I haven't been able to make any slime or any puddie as good as this stuff or that looks as cool.

This putty is one of my favorites and we have probably 15-20 different ones. This one has an easily workable texture, unlike some putties that are tough and hard to knead. It's also gorgeous! The platinum sparkles and shines just right, with the glitter appearing more 'fine' that some of the glitter putties. The precious metal containers are a little smaller than the standard size, but I still find there to be enough to play with satisfyingly. I love this putty so much that I actually replaced it when my daughter got it irreversibly stuck all over a blanket. I don't think I would have done that with most of our other putties.

I use putty, of all kinds, all the time within my pediatric practitice and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I shop Amazon all of the time, for many, varied items and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I have never written a review, but this was terrible on so many different levels I felt compelled to write this to warn others.First, it took 20 minutes and the use of a tool to force the lid off and allow the can to open (which bent the lid so much it will not go back on.) The ingredients must have separated due to the putty portion drying out, leaving 3 distinct sections: dry hard putty, a glue-like thick liquid, and glitter. The liquid glue substance must have seeped into the space between lid and can, causing the lid to be “glued” to the can. May as well have been done with super glue. But don’t get it on your hands!! Sticky, glittery crap that is very difficult to wash off.Simultaneously, dried up AND messy glue - filled with glitter!! Then, third, IT CANNOT BE REPLACED OR RETURNED?? That’s just obscene. This was a Christmas gift!My recommendation is either skip this type altogether or skip this seller. Completely unacceptable that they’ve had these complaints in the past (guess I should read the seller reviews!) and still make certain they do not have to take accountability for the product they ship.Waste of time, money, effort, clothing, soap...simply a frustrating waste all told.

Same consistency as silly putty. It is just silver glitter putty, nothing special. It’s still neat to play with though.

Great fidget for my friend who has anxiety! She loves it and says it's better than many other fidget products

While I originally bought this for myself, I've taken it to my therapy work as a suggested coping tool for those with anxiety or stress issues. I had a number of clients who after playing with it declared they were buying their own tins. Not to mention Crazy Aaron's employs those with mental health issues and this sold me on their business! Recommend it as something fun for you or as a therapy tool!

Like the the other Aaron Thinking Putties, this is perfect for fulfilling sensory cravings and generating some mild hand strength, but this one also glimmers without a glittery mess! No glitter transfer, no clean-up, and fulfills the visual cool factor : ) A platinum-gold.

My daughter lost her old thinking putty and we bought this one to replace it. The colour is out of this world!

My kids like this - A bit pricey for what it is but overall pleased with the purchase.
