I started working on upgrading my car to LED lights over a weekend, and failed to realize how much larger LED headlights can be due to the fan that they have. It was between modifying the OEM dust cover or finding a solution online; but since parts for my car are a bit hard to find I chose to not modify the OEM covers and instead found these on Amazon - best of all, they were available to ship the next day, so got two sets (two for regular headlights and two for high beams). At first, thought it be messy and hard to work with these and that they would look terrible once installed; but it wasn’t that bad. Yes, cutting them down was not easy. Just be sure to cut them a little larger, then use strong/large zip ties to hold them in place. My car is a nightmare to work with because there’s practically zero room to work in; so between cutting these covers down, installing the lights, and then installing the covers, it took me a good 3-hours; but chances are that most won’t take that long. Be cautious of the work surface - the rubber will get the surface dirty when cutting it down.

Bought these for my 2015 F-150 when I installed new LED headlight and need more room. Installed easy, all you had to do was cut to fit depending on the size you needed. Pushed right in where old dust covers were and were snug so they didn’t fall out. One watch out be careful not to cut to much off or they won’t fit properly, will be too small and loose. You can always cut off more if they don’t fit the first time

Bought it to accommodate my new LED bulbs but it is way to big to fit over the light sockets.

I bought these dust caps due to all of the good reviews that they have. I took the bait as they say lol. Even though the opening that I was trying to cover was just a tad larger then what the size says, which was 62mm and I had to cut to the 60mm mark. I was able to squeeze them on with a little bit of force. The caps are now really snug onto the back of my bulb housing on my headlight's. I also had to put a drill hole in the back of the cap to put the wiring through as well. The install went perfect without any problem's :).

These things are thick and heavy - at least in the ring part where it counts. Very pleased with the purchase. Of note: each ring is fairly thick. When you cut it down to the size you need, you may need to pay special attention to trimming off ALL of the bits of previous ring that might be hanging on still. My 2015 VW Passat has a fairly narrow trench these fit in, and if not completely trimmed they wouldn't go in. After the trim I was able to get them down into the trench. I don't think they will come out again any time soon. :)

I had NO IDEA how to install or use this product. I just guessed on how to use this because the seller had NO videos or instructions to say how to use it. Very difficult to use and I doubt I have them installed correctly but I have NOTHING to compare it to.

Exactly as described, easily trimmed to size and flexible. Excellent to allow more air circulation when using after market bulbs.Be aware though, many engine bays are packed environments these days pipes, components and wiring looms are often very close to the headlamp covers so they may not have sufficient room to be used.Also, moulding and projections on outer surface of housing may impair seal.

Ottima soluzione per modifiche ai fari. L'ho usato sulla mia motocicletta su cui ho montato lampade led.Mi ha colpito la consistenza della gomma di cui sono fatti questi coperchi: SOLIDA eppure ESTREMAMENTE FLESSIBILE. E' stato semplice ritagliare la dimensione necessaria. Una sola considerazione: nonostante provengano dalla stessa casa, la qualità della gomma di quello dalle dimensioni maggiori è nettamente superiore a quello più piccolo (quest'ultimo acquistato per sbaglio e reso il giorno dopo). Mi riserverò di aggiornare questa recensione qualora dovessero emergere problemi in futuro.

Sono davvero insoddisfatto, primo perché essendo universale va tagliato fino al punto in cui corrisponde con quello originale e giustamente è molto duro da tagliare col rischio di farsi male. Secondo perché anche tagliandolo a misura non aderisce bene e tende ad uscire, insomma perderli per strada è facile, con la conseguente entrata nel faro di umidità e polvere. Sconsigliati
