The wax seems great. Good price for 10 pounds of wax, stickers and wicks.So I asked questions here about how to work with this candle wax and read product reviews. looked for an Etienne Alair candle making website (there isn't one). So it's us and Google ... here's what I have to contribute:Evidently soy wax can hold maximum 6% to 10% fragrance load but this wax doesn't say its maximum. I tried with 6% and 8% load so far. (That means 6 or 8 % of the total weight is fragrance weight)There are calculators online to tell you how many ounces or grams of wax make a candle of any given volume... seriously this is like chemistry class all over again!!The wax melts at 170 degrees and the internet says you add the fragrance oil at 185 degrees (stirring gently in back-and-forth motions, not in circles so you don't create bubbles). Use some kind of thermometer. You'll be shocked to see how fast the temperature of wax rises. If you add the fragrance at too high a temperature the Internet says it will have trouble binding to the wax...I used 2 wicks per candle because my goals is to get them to smell (throw) as much as possible. The wick stickers held tightly to the bottom of the jar. The wicks burn nicely. The wick centering tool worked great. Once the wicks settled a bit my sister anchored them with pieces of tape because we were making so many candles and the kit only has two metal wick centering devicesI waited 48 hours and burned my candles. They are burning nice and evenly. Not smoking, not tunneling. Throwing scent reasonably well given how small the candles are.Great introductory kit that allowed us to – within an hour of Internet research – not completely screw up our first batch of candles 😁😁. I have ordered this brand of soy wax 3 or 4 times.Pros:To me it seems very good quality of wax compared to the other brands of soy wax I have bought in the past.Holding the fragrance/ scent. This wax holds so much better then the other waxes I have used in the past.After I let it sit for 2 weeks as I do with all waxes I have used in the past.It fills the room with the scent you use in the wax. Very pleased with the quality of this wax.Priced is lower then most others soy wax sold on amazon . I have searched several other brands and bought others brands. This one gas been the best I have used so far.Cons:Absolutely non for me.

This wax is very easy to work with. It is a great product. I use it to make my scented candles and it works amazing. I will definitely be buying more when I need.

This wax is perfection! I’ve been using it since the summer for my small candle business. I appreciate that it is pure soy! The burn is nice when used properly. The finished color is creamy white as expected. The 10 pound bag is a great size. I can make ~24-8 oz candles with it! Tip: use 5 cups wax per 3-candle batch and 1-1.25 oz of fragrance oil. Also, with proper curing, the wax retains the scent well!

Odorless. Easy to use in candlemaking. Good quantity and affordable price for starting a project. I recommend it.
