iFixit Prying and Opening Tool Assortment - Electronics, Phone, Laptop, Tablet Repair

Nice assortment of tools for a good price with fast deluvery. I used it for adding SODIMM RAM to my laptop. The triangle wedge is useful for prying open the back of the laptop once the screws are removed, and the stylus is useful for popping out and putting back the battery connector.

I see these blue triangles in every teardown video I watch these days, and I now see why. They're gentle, but very effective. Other tools also good, especially the shorter, blue iFixit opening tool. It's hard plastic and has sharp, smooth edges. These definitely made it easier to open my laptop than with my old set of opening tools. It was time to upgrade!

Bought this set to use for my mouse skate replacement project. Bought high end mouse skates for a number of my gaming mice. The tools in here are perfect, I will use them for maintenance on my mice longterm as well. This set has every spudger and shim you'd need to work on a mobile device or portable devices.

It works fine. Depends on your device. It’s plastic, so always keep it in mind.

I've had this plastic pry set for a few months. I actually got it for my car. I've used them a few times and they worked great. My only complaint is the black pen-like ones could be stronger. However, i did not deduct any stars for this as this set is advertised towards using for electronic devices, etc.I used the scalpel looking one to remove an improperly installed in-channel rain guard from my car. It worked great, but it broke because the plastic was too flimsy for that type of job.I could see this being a great kit for much smaller jobs requiring much less force.

Great little tool set for working on computers and other tech devices. I was able to use the spudger to fix my smart home door lock (Aqara U100) which was such a great lifesaver moment when the lock wasn’t working right and needed to be opened up and reinstalled.

I really like this set. Has little tools for so many things. My main reason to buy this is to remove batteries. My fingers need help in that regard. But I’ll use the others over time.

They are fairly durable and flexible, even when I'm using them to pry something open (and I'm, at best, a novice at repairs). iFixIt tools have been consistent in quality and I've never regretted getting more of them once they finally break.
