Very stylish and elegant decanter, it makes a handsome addition to your bar or tabletop. A lot of care has to be taken handling it while serving a drink, otherwise it's easy for it to slip your hands or to misplace it onto its stand, and breakage will be unavoidable. Otherwise, it's simply beautiful and functional. The etched world map on decanter and matching glasses is pretty accurate and so is the airplane inside. I use it for Scotch, but it can be used for wine as a true decanter, or any other spirit.

I bought this as a gift for our Uncle & Aunt for Christmas. They are very hard to buy for cause they have everything. I found this and thought it was unique enough to give them for Christmas. I was afraid to take it out of the box when I got it so I crossed my fingers and hoped everything was intact and looked like the pictures. When they opened it everything came out intact! First step accomplished! Then the real test came... Did it look like the pictures? I am happy to report it did and it was well constructed. They loved it and couldn't wait to put it to use. This is definitely worth your money!

I use it in the new distillery I share with my father and sister as a specialty cocktail. It looks way more expensive than it costs which I was surprised by. In fact, my sister decided to keep it for herself because she wanted it that badly (she is the choosiest individual I know & I have never had her compliment anything i but ever!( but this was a good choice. It is fragile and should be carefully handled but it showcases Bourbon like a champ and we are going to use our personally created bourbon which took years to develop in it as a showpiece for our top shelf liquor. Anyone who loves bourbon and or likes a basic whiskey will enjoy this because it is very unique and i haven’t been able to find any type of piece like this during my search. Will look awesome in a library, a personal bar, as a party item to offer some liquor in a classy way. It is very traditional and it’s fragile which makes it a bit scary to handle. I suggest very careful care and extremely cautious cleaning. I would not touch the glass frequently as it seems like it would be hard to remove fingerprints and I would not recommend using cleaners of any kind except a small amount of soap to wipe the outside very gently, however my sister seems to think it’s gong to make an excellent presentation for an luxury beverage she wants to develop for the “tasting room” and since she designed all the bottles of our vodka’s and bourbons and it took a lot of time and patience for her to do it. I will let her use it for personal use (I am telling her that I get to make the name of the drink and I am in charge of the final product which means I get to choose the important stuff!) buy it it’s so cool and since I have experience in product development and design I feel I can make a good choice in my recommendation.

This item is just as described and images are accurate. It is even more breathtaking in person. So excited to see the recipient open this gift. Well packaged. I will be purchasing more items in the future.
