I really like this little binocular! The auto focus works well and I love the small size and weight. I wear glasses and if I take them off to use it, the focus is off and I can't change that. So I trimmed off the spacer ring of rubber on the eyepieces to get them closer to my eye when wearing my glasses and I'm glad I did as it is much better to see through. My wife loves them because she doesn't have to fiddle with the focus. I keep it in the car and love to take it on hikes. Of course they are not as good as my 10x50 Nikon binoculars, but are convenient, work great and are a great value. I'm considering getting another pair.

Perfect binoculars for observing nature. The auto-focus functions well.The lanyard I received is faulty. There are two female ends, so the lanyard will only attach on one side. Bummer because I prefer the safety a lanyard affords against my butter fingers. If the vendor won't send me a proper lanyard, I suppose I will return the whole thing for a replacement.

I’ve used this technology in the past. It was great then and still is with this pair. Excellent compact binoculars. Period, the end. You won’t beat them.

I read some other reviews that stated concerns for their size (too small an adjustment for head size/eye spacing?), and I have had no issues with them in regard to that issue. Used them yesterday to see a large group of Bighorn Sheep grazing about 300 yards off the roadside and they worked flawlessly, clear, great magnification, easily adjusted for different size adults' eye width. We got hooked on focus free/infinite focus binoculars when we used to whale watch. We'll see how long the strap lasts with the lanyard style clip attachments, but it is easy to get another camera or binocular strap if it breaks. I am buying a second pair!

The media could not be loaded.  Little smaller than I would have liked. But they do a good job and have a good specs for the price.

I bought this to use out on the golf course to help with seeing where the ball lands. I’m not a golfer but I drive the cart for my husband with Parkinson’s Disease who no longer can drive and who still plays a mean game of golf. These help me see where the ball lands before he even sees it. The focus is perfect and I wear mono vision contacts. How that works with these binoculars is a mystery to me! Size fits the hand great and the pouch is perfect storage. Love these!!

I love these binoculars however after exactly one year they suddenly are out of focus. Customer Support never contacted me after emails written. Buy another product.

Auf der Suche nach einem möglichst wasserdichten Fernglas bin ich auf dieses Ding gestoßen. Die Idee dahinter ist simpel: Wenn es keine Öffnungen (mit oder ohne Dichtungen) gibt, dann sollte das Ding auch wasserdicht zu bauen sein. Das Mahauk Fernglas ist so konstruiert. Durch den festen Fokus gibt es keine drehbaren Okkulare. Man kann nur den Augenabstand durch mehr oder weniger Aufklappen des Fernglases verstellen. Ich habe das bei meinem Glas nachgemessen und komme auf einen Abstand von 56 bis 72 mm. Wessen Augen weiter wie 72 mm auseinander stehen wird mit dem Glas nicht zufrieden sein. Ich empfehle ein Nachmessen vor dem Spiegel :-)Geliefert wird das kleine Glas, ein einfaches schwarzes Cordura-Etui, ein Faltblatt mit englischsprachiger Beschreibung, ein kleines Putztuch und ein Trageriemen. Letzterer ist selbst in der kürzesten Einstellung noch lang genug, um das Ding über meinen Kopf zu bekommen (Erwachsener, 180cm groß, normale Statur). Alles steckt in einem schön gemachtem Karton. Damit könnte man das Glas auch verschenken. Kein Witz: Es macht was her. Ich habe niergens das Herstellungsland gefunden - mir half da auch nicht die homepage von Mahauk.com weiter. Beim günstigen Preis vermute ich eine Herstellung in Fernost oder der VRC. Das Etui ist ok, hat aber nur eine senkrechte Gürtelschlaufe für Gürtel mit maximal 55mm Breite. Es gibt am Etui keine Schlaufen für einen Tragegurt. Verschlossen wird das Etui über eine kleine Klettfläche. Das hält - ist aber auch schon beim Öffnen laut genug, dass es zu hören ist. Jäger würde das vielleicht kritisieren. Von den Abmessungen passt das ganze Glas aber problemlos in eine Jackentasche (ausprobiert bei einer M65-Jacke). Das Fernglas selbst ist genial schlicht gehalten. Die Oberflächentextur ist überall gleich. Ich mag es nicht, wenn es genarbte Kunststoffe, genoppte Kunststoffe, glatte Kunststoffe, etc. gibt. Hier ist es ein griffiger und zumindest im Neuzustand noch nicht pampiger, harter, matt-schwarzer, gummiartiger Kunststoff. Der greift sich gut. Die Bilder im Angebot entsprechen dem, was geliefert wurde. Das Glas ist so leicht, dass ich es ermüdungs- und wackelfrei halten kann. Das hilft, um die 10xfache Vergrößerung auch nutzen zu können. Ich vermisse bei dem Ding auch keine Stativhalterung. Ohne irgendwelche Basteleien heißt es hier: Festhalten oder sein lassen. Gedacht für den schnellen Blick bei Tag und leidlich Licht tut das Glas was es soll. Mit nur 25mm Eintrittsöffnung ist das Glas eh' nur für gute Lichtverhältnisse konstruiert. Laut Beschreibung soll der feste Fokus ab 20m funktionieren und bei korrektem Augenabstand ein scharfes Bild liefern. Tut es! Die Bildschärfe geht für mich absolut in Ordnung, ebenso die Farbwiedergabe. Unbequem wird es beim Tragen einer Brille. Dafür sind die Einblicke nicht geformt. Ich kann mit meiner Brille zwar ohne Angst vor Kratzern dicht an das Fernglas ran - aber dann kommt doch Licht seitlich zwischen Auge, Brille und Fernglas. Also: Ohne Brille nutzen. Ich bin altersweitsichtig, trage normalerweise eine Gleitsichtbrille mit links/rechts -1.0 Dipotrien und kann das Fernglas problemlos ohne Brille nutzen. Was ich vermisse sind Abdeckungen für die Linsen. Bei den Okkularen könnte ich mir vielleicht etwas besorgen, was auf die leicht konisch geformten Teile (29-31mm) passt. Vorne wird's nichts geben, was auf die Form des Gehäuses passt.Das ist aber Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Für das kleine Geld empfehle ich das Fernglas. Ich vergleiche hier mit einem Stei...- Firebird 8x30, dass trotz Stickstofffüllung und vermutlich wegen alt gewordener Dichtungen das Hochwasser nicht überstanden hat. Alt ja - aber sehr teure Premiumtechnik und dann doch verreckt? Nein, nicht wieder.

Très bonne jumelles surtout pour le prix.La luminosité et la netteté sont impressionnants.S'adapte parfaitement a votre vue automatiquement (aucun réglage) même si vous avez des lunettes.Elles sont très légères et extrêmement facile d'utilisation.Je suis ravie.
