Perfect for quick transfers
I've been using the JSAUX SATA to USB C Cable for a while now, mainly for backing up my video footage quickly during events. As a videographer, speed and reliability are key for me, and this little gadget hasn't let me down. The build of this cable is pretty solid. It feels sturdy in hand, which gives me confidence that it's going to last. The cable is a bit on the stiff side, but I guess that's just a small trade-off for its durability. Plus, it's got this sleek grey look that I really like – it's nice when your tech not only works great but looks good too. What I absolutely love about this cable is its compact size paired with the fast data transfer speeds it offers. Being able to quickly transfer my footage without a hitch is a game-changer, especially when I'm on a tight schedule. The plug-and-play aspect is super convenient too; I don't have to mess around with installing drivers or anything. Just plug it in, and I'm good to go.The stiffness of the cable is something I'm not a huge fan of, as it can be a bit awkward to maneuver sometimes. But honestly, it's a minor issue and doesn't really affect the cable's performance.I haven't really come across any special tricks or adjustments to make it work better – it's been pretty straightforward and effective right out of the box. I don't have any specific tips for using it more effectively, other than to say it's been a reliable tool for my videography work, making my life a lot easier when it comes to backing up data. So, if you're in the market for a reliable, high-speed data transfer solution that's easy to carry around and use, the JSAUX SATA to USB C Cable is definitely worth checking out. It's been a solid addition to my tech toolkit, and I'm pretty happy with how it's performed.

My son needed this for his computer. I don’t know anything about computers but he said this cord works and it was easy to install and it’s a nice cable.

Super handy adapter!!!
This is one of those tools that anyone that works in the IT field should keep handy. Makes moving data, copying/cloning drives super easy! It's built great and should last me a very long time. I've never had any issue with it and have used it about weekly over the last few months. Could even use this to diy an external drive. A+++

Works perfect on M1 Mac mini as well as iMac
I got this to be able to use my old computers SSD as an external drive to avoid it going to waste, and am so glad I went with this product. The plug is made of a high quality feeling metal, and feels very sturdy with no risk of snapping. At first, I had horrible read/write speeds, like in the kilobytes/second range. I then formatted my drive to APFS (what modern Macs use), and lo and behold I got 500mb/second speeds. The adapter definitely works as advertised, so if you have any issues with the drive having very slow transfer speeds, verify what it is partitioned as and format it to the correct format to your operating system. Windows is NTFS or exFAT typically, and macOS is APFS or Mac OS Extended (journaled).

Works as advertised
It works. The cable is pretty short and stiff but when you bend it it stays like that. I was unable to boot an OS on it through the startup menu but I was able to manage all the partitions in my drive with it. Very good compatibility for the money. It stays connected very well. You have to make sure you have an SSD or a hard drive that is 2.5 in as it won't be able to give enough power for a 3.5 in drive.
