Okabashi Men’s Surf Flip Flops - Sandals

For the money I think these are hard to beat. They are priced in the same range as a cheap pair of Walmart sandals while being vastly superior in quality. (And you are supporting fair wage paid American workers instead of Chinese slave labor) I have owned several pairs of flip flops and these by far seem the most durable. The arch support is absolutely amazing. They aren’t quite as comfortable as a nice pair of leather/cloth sandals, nor should they be expected to be because of the material choice they employ. They will however be much more durable and easier to clean than leather/cloth. I can’t stand the nasty black footprint image that develops on a pair of sandals after a few uses. It looks gross and obviously harbors all sorts of filth in the pores of the material. These won’t have that problem.They should also hold their shape for the life of the product wearing down and going flat like most leather sandals. I really like the little bumps that stick up and sort of massage your feet as you walk. I read a lot of reviews that talked about how heavy they are. I ordered size XL (10.5-11.5) and they weighed 12.3 oz each. For comparison my other pair of leather/cloth/rubber flip flops seen in the photo weigh 8 oz each. While the extra weight is easily noticed when in the hand, once you actually have them on your feet walking around the added weight disappears. I will gladly accept an extra 4 oz for the superior durability and 2 year warranty.As stated above I ordered the XL (10.5-11.5) I normally wear a 10.5-11 shoe and these fit me perfectly. They measure exactly 11.66” from tip to tip. I searched for awhile for made in USA flip flops that would be comfortable and durable and these nailed it!

This is the first pair of flip flops I’ve seen that are made in USA! I have plantar fasciitis and did a bunch of research on flip flops with arch support. I bought a pair of Chacos on sale for about $45.00 and I like them, but I have to say that these Okashabi’s seem to have just as good of support. The only negatives I have found so far is that they are a little heavier than the much more expensive Chacos, and the straps are wide rubber so they don’t slip on as easily. However the snug fit of the straps help keep my feet in place on the footbed. For the price of around $15 they are a great bargain. I’ll definitely be buying more as needed and recommending them to friends.

I cannot stress enough to anyone who reads this that these flip flops are the best you will find anywhere. They are completely made of a rubber material, all one piece, but they are STRONG -my last pair lasted me 10 years! And that last pair didn't rip up all the hell like most cheap flip flops. They began to tear little by little so you have plenty of time to order another and you won't have an accident also like with those other cheap ones. I've actually seen people break fibulas and toes when they were wearing the cheap flip flops you buy at the market! You won't have that worry with these.At first they feel strange because they are not flat and unsoppurtive, as they have a very high arch support, which is a GOOD thing folks! Your feet should never be so unsoppurtive and flat when you're walking around. Personally I LOVED the fact that my arches were so well supported. They felt real cozy and was like wearing a couple if masseuses on my feet. lol You literally don't want to take them off! I'm serious, if you have a low arch or suffer from foot problems due to arches, then you won't want to wear anything to else once you wear these babies. They also have these little bumps that, again, will feel strange at first, but thy will feel fantastic as you wear them for a few hours, because these little bumps are designed to massage your soles and it does feel great.I mean, try them out. Don't believe me..20 bucks isn't a big deal, but you'll thank me. Hehe :)

Saved my life?? Not truly, but wearing the Okibashi flip flops gave me back a big chunk of my day to day living. Plagued by serious pain in the balls of my feet that the Doc just couldn't figure out I had deteriorated to the point that one morning I had to crawl on my hands and knees just to get out of my room. My knees were killing me anyway so it was a looooong trek to the family room where I put on a pair of Crocs and grabbed an old cane out of sheer desperation. That didn't help much Then I spied a pair of Okibashi flip flops I had bought at closeout for half price. I thought " what the heck- I've tried everything else" so after a few minutes rest ,on go the Okibashis. They felt really weird with that high arch which is an unusual arch design to begin with. Sat around with them on for a bit and then took a few cautious steps. WOW! My feet started making weird popping sounds and strange feelings were replacing the pain somewhat but I could walk without the previous level of searing pain in my knees and feet! Feet still hurt but it was not nearly as bad.This went on the rest of the day as I alternated walking a little bit with sitting in my chair while leaning forward to put a little pressure on my feet. The next morning I put them back as I got out of bed and tried a few cautious steps- pain but NOTHING like before. The long and short is that after 3 days of wearing these things and gradually acclimating to that weird arch design my foot pain AND knee pain had been greatly reduced to a tolerable level. Evidently the way I was trying to hold my feet to lessen the pain in them had altered the geometry of my knees and was causing a joint problem of its own. Took about 7-10 day s to get used to them. Whenever my feet start to hurt or just get sore I wear the Okibashi Flip Flops for a day or two and get back to normal! I'm pretty big and have big feet- size 13- and have given some to friends with arch/ball of feet problems and they had good results too though one friend said they made his heel problems worse. They ALL have commented how it took a bit to get used to the high arch. Bottom line is I keep two pairs in the house at all times and have purchased other Okibashi sandals and I can walk without serious pain. Do note though that just these flip flops have that high arch- other Okibashis don't have nearly the same arch. Best footwear purchase I've ever made.

Bought these to see if they would help relieve heel pain over time. So far so good, using this flip flop, and other measures. The flip flop itself is comfy once you get used to it. The initial impression is a relatively hard inflexible surface. I'm a size 10 in the UK, this was a size 11 and it fitted ok.

リピート購入です。約五年間使用して左側の鼻緒が切れてしまいました。耐久性も最高ですよ。サンダル底のトレッドパターンにより濡れた所でも滑りません。重さも普通のビーサンよりは重いですが全く気になりません。徐々に足に馴染んでフィットしてきて履くほどに良くなってきます。

値段が高いし、どーかなって思いながら買いましたが、とても履きやすく疲れないし。滑らないから最高に気に入ってます！

とても履き心地がいいです。ソール部分が 足裏にフィットするので疲れにくいです。

サイズを確認して購入したのだが、履いてみると小さかった。涙涙

普通のサンダルよりか重たいですが履いてると慣れます(^_^)気に入りました！！

Diverである自分は、耐久性の高いというこのサンダルに惹かれました。結果は大満足です。最初はキツく感じるかもしれませんが、使うたびに足に馴染んできてラクチンです。また、過酷なScubaDivingの場面でもまったく破損せず、揺れるボートの上でも確かなグリップ力がありました。タウンユースでも、長時間歩かない限り使い回せます。

サンダルは大きさや履き心地に差があるので実店舗で試着後にアマゾンで購入しました主人の夏のプライベート用に買いましたが気に入ってはいているようです主人は足の甲が厚く高いのですが鼻緒にも継ぎ目が無いので靴ずれすることなくはけています借りて履いてみましたが普通のビーチサンダルよりも重たく安定しています

とてもしっかりしていていいのですが・・・少し難点なのは、重いことです・・・

表示サイズよりも、少し小さかったです。通常のワンサイズ上をお勧めします。
