VacLife Air Compressor Tire Inflator

I purchased the Vac-Life air compressor and this is by far one of the best air compressors that I have ever used! It's small, compact, and ready to use. I really like the pre-programmed air pressure feature, which allows you to dial in the amount of air you need and automatically stops when correct pressure is reached. I also like that it has an emergency light. This was a great purchase!

I’ve had this 2 years and it still works perfect.

I originally bought "EPAuto 12V DC Portable Air Compressor Pump, Digital Tire Inflator" but found it difficult to use because you have to screw this into your tire valve stem. Air is easily lost whenever I try to unscrew the inflator. What I like about VacLife is that you just plug it into the tire valve stem, no air lost like EPAuto's. The other I like is that you can set the desired pressure so that the VacLife will fill air up to that number and auto-shuts off when it reaches the number. Cord length is long enough to reach the back tires. The reason why I put a 4-star is because they should have included a carrying bag (just like with EPAuto) to place all the components/parts/accessories that comes along with it.

I highly recommend this product - let me begin by saying that I was skeptical at first since it seemed like this pump had too many good features at this price point. I was looking for a small lightweight unit that I could keep in my SUV on long camping and road trips as part of an emergency kit or refilling air in tires after driving on sand. The pump is super small, very lightweight, and most importantly (since it is powered via 12V car socket) the cord is long enough to reach around to each tire while being plugged in. The pump itself is somewhat noisy, especially for its size, but who cares? When you first connect the pump to the valve stem it will give you a real-time reading of the pressure, and then you can easily set the pump to your desired PSI and it will very quickly fill it to the target level and then shut itself off. It really is that easy. Great for quickly topping off bike tires before setting out on a ride. I have not used it for anything besides vehicle and cycle tires, but it would be super fast and easy to use it to inflate water sports or pool floats. The pump comes with a few extra nozzle types to fit these different scenarios. The pump is well built and for the price point you seriously cannot go wrong with this unit.

This inflator is a lot smaller than I expected - much smaller than my old one. Depends on the car, but it would fit easily into a glove box, or at the very least, it's very compact and takes very little space.I only did minor inflation with this so far, but I did try it out in terms of checking if the gauge is accurate. Compared to my onboard tire pressure monitoring in my car, it was right on... I also found that my old inflator is off by about 1-1.5 lbs. The length of the cord is nice - I was able to plug it into the power port in the trunk of my car and reach all 4 tires without issue (full disclosure, it's a small car -- a 2016 MINI Cooper).So far I like this inflator. If I were to ding it for something, it would be that the storage cavity where you put the cord and other nozzles doesn't have a cover to hold it in. Instead, it relies on pressure to not fall out.

I am writing this review to share my experience with the VacLife air compressor- this little thing is an easy to use powerhouse: I had been needing an air compressor for the cars and the bicycles and saw this one at the right price point so I ordered it after only glancing at the details. I was surprised to see how EASY it is to use- literally all you do is turn on the car, plug it in the cigarette lighter, attach the pump to the tire (where it digitally reads what the current pressure is), set your desired pressure (it has access to other units, but I use PSI so I don't need the others but they are there), hit the power button, and wait for it to shut off after it reaches the desired pressure. It is accurate (I checked) and fast, and I couldn't be happier. Please note that while the company encourages reviews, I wrote this review is because I actually love the product- you can check my other reviews of other items and see that I'm not one to puff up a product that doesn't deserve it. This is a solid pump and I recommend it.

My old Air compressor broke and it was time to get a new one. Decided to give this one a try and was pleasantly surprised at its performance.It is easy to use, set the pressure and let it do the work. Cord is long enough to easily reach out the 4 tires in my car. I checked accuracy, and as stated in the manual, it is slightly above the set goal (+.5-1 PSI), With 3 out of my 4 tires it accounted for the loss of air pressure while disconnecting the compressor from the tire, so it ends up at the required pressure (it is always easier to remove a bit of air than having to pump more).I also used it for the bicycles and works great, the connector is way better than my previous one, where I had to screw into the pivot and would lose a significant amount of air when removing. Whit this one you just unplug it and the amount loss is minimum (more noticeable in a bicycle than in a car tire).Overall very pleased with the performance and would certainly recommend it

I purchased this tire inflator awhile back and only had the opportunity to use it a couple of times. The second time using it, it broke. I contacted the customer service on the pump to inquire about any issues you may have with the product. I contacted them and they wanted a video of the issue. I couldn't send a video because it would deflate my tires and I didn't have another pump on hand. I told them I would send a video of the pump deflating a basketball. Never heard a response back from the company. This could be a defective unit as it only lasted 2 uses. Would not recommend.

Great product, compact and works as advertised. Glad I paid a little more for a quality pump and features. The product shipping experience to Canada was excellent and delivery as promised by the shipper . Glad I won't have to stop at a gas station and pay $2 to check my tires anymore! Recommend this product highly.
