Extremely Sturdy! Excellent!
I spent $60( i bought two) extra on these because VEVOR kept moving the date. I tried to save a few bucks.... They are SOLID! I'd stand under these with confidence any day. Fortunately/Unfortunately, they got here before my actual Lift got here and installed. Took like two minutes to assemble.

Decent for the price
I also have a Blue Point (Snap On) hoist support stand for comparison. The Blue Point has a heavier cross bar and slightly smoother threading & bearings, meaning that it'll spin longer when you give the cross bars a twirl. Also the Blue Point has foam padding in the saddle area which protects the item you are lifting against. But the Blue Point is 2.5 times more expensive and certainly isn't that much better. Buy the Arcan.

Great product
Perfect for use with my lift. Having this as an extra helping hand has been great. Very powerful and would probably lift the corner of the car off the lift if I wasn't careful.

Like having a third, strong arm!
I have had a 2 post car lift for 5 years. Recently purchased this hoist to help me with changing leaf springs on a Trans Am. Wow, made the job so much easier being able to raise and lower the axle to get the springs in position. Sturdy and easy to turn the handle for correct height. Perfect!

It provided excellent stability on uneven surfaces
I recently used the Arcan Underhoist Support Stand (3/4 Ton Capacity) during my Airstream renovation, and it proved to be a game-changer. With its 12-inch diameter base, it provided excellent stability on uneven surfaces, which is crucial when working on an Airstream. The contoured saddle was particularly helpful, as it securely held components in place without slipping or causing damage. The 3/4 ton capacity was more than enough for supporting the weight I needed during the project, giving me peace of mind while working underneath the trailer. It’s also easy to adjust and sturdy, making it perfect for both quick fixes and more extensive repairs. If you’re working on a project that requires heavy lifting and support, especially in tight spaces, this stand is a reliable and solid tool to have on hand. Highly recommended for Airstream renovations or any similar tasks.

Stout
Easy to put together. Strong construction. Inner rod is fully threaded unlike those with just 6" of thread. Good value for the money.

Easy to modify to use with Maxjax mid rise lift
It arrived completely in tact and in good condition, although the plastic wrap on the screw could have been better applied to keep the small aount of rust it inherited in shipping at bay.I have found supports that I can put under my axle on Amazon that work with the MaxJax if I only want to have it half way up to maximum height but the mid rise lift is short enough already. I wanted a support that I could use at max height on the lift and the shortest of these only just barely work for a few applications at the minimum adjustment setting so it's far from useful that way. There's a trans jack you can modify for use so I looked at all these support stands for one that's easy to modify and this one looked worth trying out.The way it's constructed the 12" base has a threaded boss that there is a short tube that threads in and then the main body of the pole slips inside it and has a pin with a hitch pin that attaches to it. I had planned on cutting the main pole shorter and re drilling it to hold it inside the threaded tube. The adjustment screw on the main body is very long and it means if you want to re-bolt the base you can only shorten it 8-10" at most. However, the main pole is constructed of a thick wall welded seam tube that is not super round, so the manufacturer appears to have turned it down a bit so it has a round profile and slip fit into that threaded in base tube. After cutting it shorter I had to sand down the exterior on my belt sander to git a very tight interference fit that required a good bit of persuasion with a block of wood and sledge hammer to drive home. There is convieniently a lip at the bottom of the base for it to sit snug against. I may plug weld it in through the former pin hole but it's not going anywhere and I can still unscrew the outer tube if I need to take it apart. This method gives you another 5 or 6" if you need to cut it shorter if you want to keep the full screen length and it's sturdier than the original intended assembly method, if you need to go shorter you will have to cut the screw, if you shorten it much take note of the roll pin they have near the end to keep you from screwing it all the way out under load as it's a nice safety feature.

Great bang for the buck
Great product for the price. I purchased 2 and use them to hold some of the weight of large trucks on my hoist. They are easy to move and set to height and hold the weight with ease
