This book, and the daily rhyme challenge he runs on Facebook, have literally changed the way I think about words. This takes something that you thought would be difficult and lets you into this crazy linguistic world where you realise that all these different concepts can be connected. Some time later, you find yourself scanning sounds, trying to find more for your rhyme scheme, GRAHAM NORTON / JASON SCHWARTZMANN / TRACY MORGAN / JAMIE DORNAN / MAJOR ORGAN / LAYING DORMANT. This book scratches the logical part of my brain with a big fat hand. I never thought I'd be able to come up with 22 different rhymes for BILLY CONNOLLY but they sit happily in my phone notes.One of the cool things I like about the multis is that it is pure self-entertainment, and that you can kill time in dull situations by thinking of the perfect multi for whatever dull TV show your mother-in-law is making you watch.If you're any sort of creative writer then this book is invaluable. I just use it for a fun mental challenge and I bloody love it.

This is not only the handiest starting point for aspiring writers to get a good grip on multisyllabic rhyming, but also a great tool for already established artists to expand their own pallets or seek fresh inspiration and ideas. I've recommended this book to at least 5 different colleagues of mine who have all purchased and found it to be incredibly useful during their process and workflow. I always used to watch Shuffle T's rap battles and my ear knew he had a distinctive style but I didn't really I understand what it was. Once introduced to Multisyllable rhymes I was at first slightly confused how they worked and absolutely terrible at thinking of my own. Shuffle and Bleez's book explains them perfectly and allows you to not only enjoy the sound of rhymes but understand how they work. The only downside is I am now obsessed with multi syllable rhymes and so are my kids. I see them everywhere and I spend far too long thinking about them!

An amazing little book, from two gifted rhymers who like a bit of brains behind their bars. Imagine having two really clever friends who know far more about writing and rhyming and rapping than you do, but who explain it so clearly and cleverly that they don't ever make you feel stupid or lost. In fact, their book fires up the imagination. Which is thrilling for any writer, whether you rhyme or not. The Advanced Rhyming Dictionary is, like its authors, inspiring.

Awesome rhyming dictionary. This is the only rhyming dictionary that I have seen to include more complex multi-syllabic rhymes.I recommend this dictionary to anyone who is obsessed with rhymes like me.

I have literally learned how to rhyme because of this absolutely gem! I couldn't recommend this book anymore - I keep it on my desk at work so I can rain down fire on the rest of the office; I bring it in my car so I can rinse my missus; I bring it to parties so I can own anyone who tries to steal my drink...Seriously though, an absolutely phenomenal piece of kit for anyone, from complete beginner to stone cold killer!

An absolutely one of a kind creation. Mere days after reading this book I find myself stringing off multi’s mid conversation. Its addictive to say the least and a perfect buy for anyone looking to dive head first into the world of rhyming. Also surprisingly fun to bring to gatherings to have a crack at the “Multi’s game”. Will definitely be buying extra copies for friends.
