It's great for any styling techniques such as,
Smells very nice, all natural ingredients. I live in the desert so during the summers I suffer from hay textured dry hair. This product really helps to keep hair supple and soft even in the most extreme weather. It's great for any styling technique. When I flat iron with just a bit of this product distributed through out my hair it makes for a much smoother and shinier press. Though it does weight the hair down a bit so a little goes a long way as other reviews say. I use this when my hair is freshly washed as it is a heavier product. I use a lighter moisturizer throughout the remainder of my style. Also great with braid or twist outs, if you have dry hair, dampen with aloe very spray or plain water, detangle, work this product into your strands, french braid or flat twist, wrap, in the morning your hair will be so soft and moisturized. There are plenty of other ways to use this product for moisturizing and styling but those are the two ways I use this the most. Lovely product!

The best I have tried...
..and I have tried everything, including Wen, Motions, Carols Daughter, Creme of Nature, Aveda, Loreal, Dudley's, and lots more. But this Nourish & Shine is an Excellent product! My hair is typical AA hair with a relaxer, with a color rinse for my gray. This helps moisturizer. Not much needed to keep my hair soft while still allowing it to move.2 years after my first review, I am updating my review because my hair is now all natural. I cut all the relaxer out. I have replaced it with a light texturizer which is not nearly as damaging and leaves my natural curl but opens it so it is not as tight and can easily be worn wet with the right products. Most of the time I wear my hair in a straighter style (flat ironed) with lots of curls all over. Without the relaxer and with a lot less flat ironing and less hot drying, the texturizer with this Jane Carter product is what my hair has needed for years. I feel like I have my youthful hair back. It is thick again!!! I only have a minimal amount of shedding laying in the bathroom floor. It shines as bright as the sun. (No exaggeration.) It is soft, manageable, but not oily at all.Again, my hair does not need much of this product. I use it on my scalp and on my hair at least twice a week. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I pray the manufacturer never stops making it. The only suggestion I have is to make it odorless. I do not like the scent at all. But I weigh the scent against the benefits. The benefits are huge. Thus, I keep using it. I wish I had taken pictures before and after. (I have a perfumed hair spray that matches my perfume so that helps.)Some women with non-ethnic dry hair might want to try this as a hot oil treatment. I bet it would leave their hair silky and shiny without leaving it oily.Kudos to Jane Carter. This is a must have for my hair!

Nice for hair and skin! Who'd have known.
This is a lovely product. My son with perhaps typical mixed race hair needs both good conditioning and taming/styling for his hair. This gives it a really nice soft shine, is really touchable, doesn't make him breakout like the often greasy other products. It keeps his unruly hair in check both if he wants to brush it out or leave it naturally curly. An added bonus is that I love how the lightly citrus scent feels on my hands and skin just like the package says! It seems that it will last a long time so it is not a bad value at all. I've already bought a second one to keep in the other bathroom.

Great smell, awesome job!
This product so far does me and my hair very well. A very small amount ( about the size of a dime) definitely goes a long way. My hair just got relaxed about two weeks ago after 9 months in a sewn in. I have very coarse kinky hair and I try all types of things to make sure my hair does well. This stuff smells amazing, nothing like the chemical smells of other hair creams and it does a wonderful job of moisturizing my dry hair. The true test will come during those weeks I am stretching my relaxer. But like I said so far so good!***Update**After some time of using this product I must say it still does a good job of moisturizing BUT it does its best on freshly relaxed hair. When my hair was extremely hard to manage this acted as a pomade for keeping it smooth and the hairs in place with a nice shine. Very good for keeping curls but not great if you have very hard to manage dry hair ( like when you are about 6 months due for a relaxer and your hair is REALLY COARSE)
