Great Coffee and Value for Money

I have been using these Grano Milano capsules for some time now and they are consistently good. I like the flavour and strength, and they fit perfectly into the Nespresso machine. I use the decaffeinated version and my wife likes the normal version. My only slight moan is that although the capsules are different colours, there is no indication of their strength or whether they are decaffeinated on the capsules themselves, which is why I have deducted one star. Perhaps the manufacturers might take note. Otherwise, excellent value for money and highly recommended.I haven't included a photograph as they are exactly as shown in the advert.

By Far the best coffee I’ve bought. I always struggle to get and make a coffee that I really like. Either too much or too little milk or the coffee itself is either too strong or too weak.This coffee is Absolutely perfect for my taste. Not too strong but very drinkable.I still can’t taste which is the best in the package yet but I’m going to place another order because knowing my luck, they’ll stop producing it.

I have always bought these pods, delicious coffee flavour. I stopped for 2 months and it seems the pods have less coffee in them and the shell of the pod is much flimsier in quality.

Like many of us in lockdown, my home nespresso consumption has significantly increased so I've been looking for nespresso pods that: a) taste good; b) don't sting my wallet; c) work in my machine (a worry reading across a lot of reviews of 'budget' pod options). Grano Milano have ticked all of those boxes for me after a couple of months of use.Do they work? These capsules work fine in my Krups nespresso machine; easy enough to close the lid, flow and that illusive 'crema' is good, perhaps a bit of extra run-off in the drip tray but that's manageable.Look? I was pleasently surprised by the quality of the box the capsules came in (almost gift-worthy), and while the vibrant primary and secondary colours of the capsules themselves are a bit brash vs. the sleak metallic finish of the Nespresso originals, I can live with that for almost a third of the cost.Flavour? If you're a connoisseur, Nespresso's own brand and the quality and variety on offer is still the benchmark, but at this price-point I've found the Grano Milano pods have a pleasant flavour with some clear differentiation between the different varieties in the range; the Crema is mild and smooth while the Supremo does have some rich chocolately notes

The actual flavour of the coffees themselves aren't bad, hence 2 stars. However I would not recommend these due to the very poor quality of the capsules. Using them in a Krups Nespresso machine, I have had endless issues with leaking. More than 50% of the capsules do not break correctly so most of the water flows through to the drip tray, which then floods, leaving an almost empty cup and a flooded worktop. As I said it's a shame as the price is good and the coffee more than drinkable for the price, but a waste of money when most of the capsules are not really useable. Since switched to another brand and no issues with leaking, so it's definitely a design flaw with these capsules.
