Timberland Men's Six-Inch Basic Boot

I ordered and received these boots back in Jun/2019. They are good looking boots as you can see in the photos, and these boots are also very light weight which is certainly a plus. They took a short while to break in since they were slightly tight. I've walked in down pours, in wet grass, through some fairly deep puddles, and my feet always stayed dry.I do walk a lot and I wore these nearly every day since I received them. Just this week (12/10/19), I noticed that the right boot was getting wet inside. I checked the bottom of the boot and noticed that the tread had worn down and there was a hole in them. I checked the left boot and sure enough, the tread was worn down on that one as well, but without a hole, yet. I don't recall stepping on anything that would puncture the boots so I believe the tread just wore down from walking in them. I chose the Timberland Six Inch Basic Boot over a pair of Smiths Fulton Platinum Men's Boot from Modells, which I've owned before. I expected the Timberland's to last longer, being Timberland, but the truth is that the Smiths Fulton Platinum Mens Boot is more durable than the Timberland boot and far less expensive. I'll be going back to the Smiths boots for everyday wear. The Timberland Six Inch Basic Boot, which is a good looking boot, is more show than go.

I have worn Timberland boots since I was a kid ( a very long time). Over the years Timberland has consistently made boots with the same great quality and fit that you have grown accustomed to up to about 5 years ago. I bought the same boot that I always have but there was a big difference in quality. Not so much in how they looked but more how the boots felt. They just didn't have that same all day comfort from the get go that they used have. Well to my surprise less then 3 years later I'm buying a new pair because I was about to walk right out of the currant pair. The old Timberland boots would last not less then 5years easy. So I find these Timberland's and think what a GREAT price for these boots ($109+) and I buy them. WOW! The quality has gotten MUCH worse in the last 3 years even! These boots are very light weight, very little of that nice thick sole they used to have, the leather feels like it's fake and I can wear them half the day being comfortable and the rest of the day is a lot less comfortable. I gotta keep them cause I don't have anything else so good thing I didn't pay the $180+ for these boots like I've seen them listed for in places. Timberland you should be ashamed to be making products so cheap these days. I doubt these boots will last a year!

Insoles have absolutely NO cushion at all, seem unfinished & material actually rolled up inside. There is also a very hard & almost sharp piece of leather on interior seam of 1 of the boots that caused a terrible blister the first time worn. Trying to flatten that piece of leather & had to go by inserts to try to make them comfortable. From Timberland & for $100, I really expected more. Not certain why the quality is so inferior versus a pair of the same boots I bought at Bob's Store.Very disappointing, they were a present for my son.

Absolutely fantastic! I love these Timberlands, I definitely wanted the BASIC boot over the Premium Boot, and these fit perfect! I haven't bought a Timberland Basic Boot in over 10 years! I'm so happy, wish I bought these in November though, turning spring soon and won't be able to wear them in like the way they look best! I don't know why, but I like these much better than the Premiums. They look better too! These will last another 10 years! By the way, Amazon was the cheapest price, even in regular stores.

They look good and are very sturdy, excellent tough sole. I really liked these boots but I had to return them because they are too large. When I to exchange them for one size down I was not allowed to; It doesn't make sense Amazon would not let me exchange them for one size down nor could I exchange them for a different Timberlane boot. I did not want to go without boots for a week+, therefore I had to buy another pair of Timberlanes (I hope these fit) and wait 7-10 days for the money back from the first pair. Consequently, I currently have over $200 out for a $101 pair of boots. Timberlanes are great boots when they fit properly. I only took off 1 point because I blame Amazon not Timberlane for most of the aggravation.

I wear 10.5 in Nike and vans shoes and this fits me perfectly in a 9.5. It's a bit uncomfortable to put on because of how the tongue connects to the boot, but once on feet it's comfortable to wear because of the soft back and sides of the upper part of the boot.

First of all, this is not a knock against the Timberland brand. I have 2 pair of Timberland Boot Company boots that are among my favorite possessions. But it was a long road to them...I decided I wanted a good pair of black boots on the borderline of casual and dress. High quality and durable, that will last years - decades - if not the rest of my life. Preferably American made. And then I came across Timberland - "Oh yeah: Timberland... Maine - they're great!" So I ordered these.These are not made in Maine they're made in China. I wear a size 9.5-10 in shoes but boots are generally big on me, so I ordered a size 9. I could barely get my feet into the opening. I'd have a better chance of putting my girlfriend's shoes on. So without examining them much I repackaged and returned for a size 10.I got my foot in the size 10 (barely), and then turned my attention to the actual shoe. I had noticed with the size 9 that they seemed a bit off - like the quality was lacking. Like they're make out of cardboard or plastic (which I think they are: 'synthetic leather'). So I abandoned my Timberland dreams, trying on many-a-boot, only to come back to Timberland in it's high-quality incarnation as the Timberland Boot Company.I have 2 pair, brown and black. The black ones are handmade in Maine and the brown ones in Brazil. Made of very high quality leather, they are, again, among my most favorite possessions - you'd have an easier time wrestling them away from a raging bull than me. Though they aren't cheap (you get what you pay for) I bought both on sale for what this Basic boot retails for. TBC all the way.

Awsome boot. These look grey on the picture online but they are very black.Be sure to get 1/2 size smaller than you wear in other shoes for a perfect fit.Also be sure to look up online an alternate (correct) method of lacing boots. These boots are too genuine to use the standard lace method.

Muy padres botas , se ven muy bien, ligeramente más grande en talla, pero normal para este tipo de botas, se ven geniales en jeans , tienen un aire motociclista
