Bottom line: this supplement is *not* commodity vitamin C, and is instead 100% natural from the following: camu camu berry, acerola berry, amla berry (another reviewer here misspelled), goji berry, cranberry, mulberry, hawthorn berry (another reviewer here misspelled), schisandry berry, blueberry, raspberry, black pepper berry, lemon peel (not a berry), freeze-dried acai berry, and freeze-dried maqui berry (another reviewer here misspelled), but also contains ingredients comprising over 5x the vitamin C content, leading to the likely need to take more capsules for desired C consumption. In my case, since I take 2000mg of vitamin C on typical days, this means that the 120mg of vitamin C in a serving size of 1 capsule means I need to take 16 capsules! I already take a fair amount of supplements each day, so after my week of experimenting with this product I started to gag. And 120 capsules means only a 1-week supply of vitamin C at maximum, since on rare occasions I take 5000mg or more to ward off illness. For a long time, I took Solaray Reacta-C, which uses a patented form of vitamin C in the form of strontium ascorbate and calcium ascorbate for maximum bioavailability, later switching to commodity vitamin C (ascorbic acid) from Doctor's Best at a significant discount. At current prices the 120mg version of NatureBell is $0.16 per capsule, meaning $1.33 per equivalent 1000mg capsule, whereas the 1000mg version of Doctor's Best is $0.09 per capsule, which is a significant discount when all I care about is commodity vitamin C that helps keep me well.

When I am taking a supplement for immunity, I want to be sure it is safe so I am not doing more harm than good. Vitamin C is a great way to build your immunity and doing it with an all natural product deriving its Vitamin C from berries is the way to go. I have had great luck with Naturebell in the past -- they are a trusted company and the product is made in the USA so it has strong regulatory protections in terms of manufacturing and product labeling.Wow! 14 different types of berries listed on the product label (half of which I have never heard of) -- love it. Recommended dosage is 1 capsule, 2 times a day so the 120 capsules is a 60-day supply. Each capsule provides 120 mg of Vitamin C so you are getting 240 mg/day (over 2.5 times recommended daily allowance). This is not as much as the high potency 1000 mg Vitamin C supplements you see out there, but it is hard to absorb and retain 1000 mg anyway and those high potency supplements can be hard on some people's stomach. Plus, I just love the fact that this is all natural and from berries.Capsules are pretty large so beware if you have trouble swallowing large capsules.Expiration date is 2 years into the future so plenty of time to go through a 6-day supply.

I have tried this brand of supplements a few times now and I have no complaints so far. What I really like about this is all the natural foods that the vitamin is derived from. My family and I have been taking these pills and we haven't had so much as the sniffles during this time even though we've been around plenty of germs! The pills go down easy, the quality seems great- and there have been no issues with the individual pills. So far I'm pretty pleased.

I wanted to start taking a good vitamin C supplement. Vitamin C can be taken everyday and really helps the immune system. I like that this vitamin C is extracted from a variety of fruits and berries. Even better is the source is organic which is very important to me.These are capsules which means they are really easy to digest and absorbs quite well. I do not experience any stomach upset from taking this product. Having recently reviewed another Vitamin C supplement how to compare?The bulk size of 1000 tabs at $30 was not GMO free not vegetarian yet it’s a great buy!My preference would be for vegan version from Nature Bell as it’s easier to swallow and digest. It’s definitely pricey though. I’m taking these on an empty stomach every morning but two capsules daily means this will last two months and I’m still thinking as much as I like it it’s pricey.
