Raaka Yacón 79% Cacao Chocolate Bar (Cane Sugar Free)

I don't eat much in the way of sweet things. I've not had cane sugar in years, and usually opt for things lightly sweetened with coconut nectar or honey. This bar isn't even slightly sweet. It was very bitter. I couldn't handle it, but my husband thought it was tolerable with peanut butter smeared on it.

Chocolate without cane sugar! That doesn't taste like stevia or have a weird aftertaste! That's actually rich and delicious! And super high quality and responsibly sourced! Oh this world is getting better and better.You'll dig this if you're an appreciator of dark chocolate whether or not you're trying to avoid cane sugar (though I'd strongly suggest their other flavors too see how sweetener makes even more magic with their beans). If you're specifically wanting to avoid cane sugar, this is your girl. I find it a satisfying and nourishing experience without an experience of "lack." Raaka's done it again. I love this company so much.

I like that this has a natural sweetener like yacon, but the taste is very bitter. It doesn't taste chocolatey at all and the texture is not good.

Love this no sugar, low-glycemic bar, excellent, new favorite.
