I drink tea in the morning, so I just put water in one of these cups, put it in the microwave for 2 minutes. When it's hot, I put my teabags (yes, I use 2 -- I like it strong) in and put a cover over it to let it steep. When I put these cups in dishwater they float. That's how light they are. They could also be used to reheat coffee or soup.

The cup can be microwaved for 3 minutes without getting hot to the touch. Size fits under 12 fluid oz. Not big enough for a bowl of soup. But enough to warm Wendy’s serving of chili. I’m a little worried about stains with ivory. I will probably buy the brown one. I would rather have black.

I actually like this mug. It's perfect for a small cup of soup or even a hot chocolate. I've even used this for making microwave brownies and they were perfect for that. What I didn't like was that these were easily scratched. After first use and using a metal spoon they don't look as nice and you can see how badly the spoon scratches the bottom of the mug. Overall it's light, stackable and great for camping. Just don't use metal spoons or it will destroy the inside of it.

While these cups are 12oz, filled to the lip, you will only fit 8oz of liquid. So it is basically a plastic coffe cup. Not worth the cost, dollar store quality tiny plastic cup.

It’s a perfect cup to eat soup plus drink hot chocolate as well! It can withstand the heat of the drink or soup, it has great quality!
