Hitachi Nail Gun Hanger (Purple 50605)

Color coded for various nail guns, this dark blue version fits nicely on my Hitachi nr90ae(s1). Yes you can pull the aluminum nail strip holder off, when you swap bolts to add the hanger, just put it back, it’s fine. I loosened the other two bolts to line up the holes then tightened them together.

I got the hangar and did what others have done in grinding the ear for better clearance on the first hole but I DIDN'T like the thing folding up into my hand so, after checking out a way to change it so it could fold down toward the nail magazine, I decided to bend the flat bar toward the gun handle about 10 degrees and grind the end of the round rod to about a 45 degree angle to fit the contour of the magazine.It works PERFECTLY! The hangar now moves toward the magazine and locks in place with 1/2" clearance, enough to push the bar in and rotate it into position. It's actually goes into a better position for hanging so what you're hanging it on doesn't push against the magazine so much..To bend the flat bar just lay it down on concrete with the ear (with the holes) facing down and the round bar out of the way so as not to bend the pin and hit the center of the bar with the corner of a hammer or with a flat punch.This is something the manufacturer should try.

I use them for everything except what they are intended for...lolI install them on extension ladders and A-frames to hold sds cordless drills, Mexican shopping bags to hold fixtures.Install 2 on each side of your service cart and fold out to carry your A-frames into the building, or conduit or pipe or your jacket or an extension cord or what ever the hell you want.In the shop on table edge. It may be difficult to get excited about an accessory as simple as a nail gun hanger. In this day and age outstanding customer service is exceptional, though and gets me jazzed enough to write about it.First, the hanger is great! I like stout and this 3/8" diameter rod is strong enough to hold my 240 pounds, let alone a 7-8 lb. nail gun. I really wanted this hanger, but was not sure if it would fit my Max SN883RH2 nailer. Vendor stinks in two ways: 1) insufficient info to make intelligent choice and 2) they never answered my email questions. I went ahead and ordered the hanger through Amazon and like always it arrived quick. This green package fits most Hitachi guns but hardware included would not work on my Max. I could've picked up hardware to fit, but back of the card had the company website on it ([...]) so I went there and emailed them my question. Got an almost immediate response and Rick said he'd send correct hardware when he got my address. He must have mailed it same day-his parts came FAST! The hanger was easy to install and it works GREAT! I love quality tools and great design...this hanger is the BEST of both, but the amazing customer service makes this the only hanger I will ever buy. They even turned down my offer to pay them for parts and shipping! At last...a company who treats me the way I treat my customers! Thanks Rick!

This thing is great and is made in the USA. Purchased for a Hitachi NR65 MC nailer as it didn't come with a rafter hook. Installation was literally removing a single screw, placing the Hanger, then replacing the screw. I have other guns that have copies of this hanger, but they didn't do it right (spring tension too stiff, poorly fit parts that bind when you try to adjust the hook position) whereas this has perfect spring tension, and while it will not move on its own, you can easily adjust the hook position. Buy with confidence. Different colors delineate which tools the hanger is compatible with so be sure to get the right one.

Great product. I have hangers on every single one of my nail guns. I much prefer these type of hooks that can be retracted when not needed, as opposed to the large stationary ones that have been coming with the new Matabos. Also, some nail guns come standard with plastic hooks. I would gladly pay extra for one of these metal hooks. They are very sturdy and can take a beating. I agree that the extra $20 can seem a little pricey, but there are situations we all get into while using a nail gun that require a hook, and it can become a matter of safety as well, whether your up on a ladder working, or up in the joists and rafters. If you will be using your nail gun on any elevated position, I highly recommend a hanger from this company.

Tool was shipped timely and arrived in good shape. Hanger is very sturdy and looks like it can take some abuse. The mounting bracket matched up nicely to the old school Hitachi NR83A but the bolts provided in the kit did not fit - too large so used the original mounting bolts from the nail magazine. Overall a decent product but a little expensive compared to the competition and what comes in the kit. The markup must be 500% based on the material and workmanship of the devise.

I have tried many hangers but like these the best. It is something of a challenge to figure out which one you need because of all the nail gun options. Although the packages list nail guns that they fit, some of the gun listings are out of date (newer model) and some guns like strap hangers are not listed at all. The advertising material and web site could be better in this regard. However, when I could not figure out which one to buy for a couple of nail guns I sent them an email and got a prompt and helpful answer. One caution, they seem to cover more Hitachi nail guns that any others. That is not a problem for me since I use only Hitachi nail guns but if you have another brand check it out before you buy.

Put this on my Metabo NR90ADS1. It's great, but the bolt included used to attach to gun is a little long and pushed in the aluminum magazine causing a dent. Not a big deal, but for this price it should not damage the gun. If you use a washer for spacing before tightening the bolt, you should avoid any problems.

Im very satisfied with this hook.My only issue was the bolts sent with it did not fit my nailer and I had to get my own.

Man it does the purpose I bought it for! Really strong clip

It's really great. Keeps my nailer handy within arms reach, hangs equally well off your ladder or off your pouch.
