I like Kalamata olives but I like the taste of these black olives even more. It's worth the little bit of extra time it takes to pit them, which isn't really hard - just squeeze them and the seed pops right out.They will keep a loooong time in the refrigerator, in an airtight plastic bag. The taste does not suffer from the storage. I eat them out of hand, or in salads. I even make an olive bread with them, yum yum!I have ordered them 3-4 times now and will order them again. The price is reasonable although it has gone up.

I buy Marmarabirlik regularly. Price is not bad and tastes well.

For most Americans, used to watery pitted olives, these olives probably have too much flavor, and will be considered too salty when this is indeed a desired part of the product. In a country where olives are extremely expensive and usually of low quality, these olives are a real exception. I am ordering them since many years ago, and the quality is consistently good.

Everything about these olives was fine, except they were very small. I knew I was taking a gamble when I purchased them because I could not find the size of the olive written anywhere when I was choosing them to purchase. If they'd been advertised as small, and I'd decided to purchase them anyway, I'd rate them with five stars.These olives were ordered because they were supposed to be large. They are NOT. The advertising photo tricks you to think that thay are large. Very disappointed with this type of behaviors. HOWEVER, as a Turk, I am happy with the quality and taste. Very good.

Packages is sealed, packed tight. Once you open it dump the juice and pour the olives in a tupper wear and fill with water to desalination. You have to soak them in water for a day. Drain and put a large handful or as much as you like in a small container. Add, oregano, paprika and thyme or anything for your taste. Top it off with olive oil enough to stir it. Ready to eat... Bon appetite... you are welcome. Turkish people eat these olives like this for a looong time... do it right :)

This olives were packed very well. They are so tasty, I can’t stop eating them! Not too salty, nice firmness and texture, just exactly what I wanted. I wasn’t sure what to expect after reading all kind of reviews but decided to try and I’m glad I did it. Now I want to try the other types of olives the same brand!
