Kamik Women's Acadia Boot

I'm saying these are fit for the arctic due to where I live. I was in need of really good snow boots, ones that can stand up to the harsh weather of where I live, which is out in the wilderness of Alaska. My fiancee's sister owned a pair of boots from this company, and since I didn't know where to start looking for some good boots, I figured Kamik was a good place to start. Advertising what severe amount of weather they can withstand is what sold me on this pair. Out of the entire collection I had seen so far on Amazon, these were the ones that stood out to me. Being able to withstand -40 F is something desperately needed here since the harsh winters can get that cold, if not colder.These boots arrived in a timely manner, and I got to test them out the minute the package arrived at my home. So far, they've been comfortable, cozy, and are able to withstand as much cold as it can get. Standing in the snow for long periods of time can make your feet so cold that it can hurt and unable to move, especially if you're working in harsh conditions like my fiancee and I are. Although these boots aren't making my feet completely warm when that situation comes up, they're a lot better compared to what I was using originally for work boots in the winter. Compared to those, these are fantastic. I would now say these are my favorite boots to wear for the winter so far, and we'll see how long their life expectancy is. I needed to get a sturdy snow boot for my 10 year old daughter for a ski weekend. I got a fantastic deal on these Kamik boots in her size. Her feet stayed warm and dry and she thought they were 'adorbs'. We've had many pairs of Kamik rain boots over the years, and I have always been pleased with the quality and durability. Their snow boots are just as good. My daughter's only complaint was that they were kind of heavy, and they are bit of a clunky boot- my feet are 2 sizes bigger than hers, but my snow boots look the same size, or slightly smaller than these. That might be an issue for more frequent wear, but for an occasional snow boot, it is not a deterrent.

Product is very well made. A bit heavy but will be great for deep snow. The fit is a bit snug even though I bought a size up. Would be better if half sizes were available. All in all a good quality boot.

These boots are very comfortable and stylish. A lot of padding makes them extra comfy and warm. I can't wait until it snows so that I can wear them!! I would highly recommend these boots for anyone that lives in a climate that gets a lot of rain and snow. The Holidays are right around the corner and these boots would make an excellent gift!!

Style is nice but insulation did not allow as much flexibility as I wanted as I have an old ankle injury. It would not be comfortable for me to drive in them; however, someone else will find them warm and a great boot.

These boots run very small. Order at least one size up. My kid is a 6 1/2 and the 7's were too small. They seemed light and well made, but totally useless naturally. Another beef - had to pay return postage. Will not order shoes through Amazon again when I can pay the same elsewhere and have free shipping both ways.

These are so warm, it feels like you have heated socks on. Love them! I have ice cold feet year round so I will enjoy these. They have a nice insulated insert, but it can be removed if you don't want it in there. Well worth the $38(I got mine through theDealyo on FB, they posted a flash sale on these)

I generally wear a size 8. I ordered one size up after reading reviews. Very happy with fit. Is a very warm boot and fits great in my snowshoes. Works well with thicker socks and you still have enough breathing room so your toes don't get cold. Very happy with the quality and price of this boot.

Die Schuhe kamen mängelfrei an und wurden im Winter 2012 eingeweiht bei - 20 Grad. Die Füße bleiben absolut warm. Leider fällt der Schuh etwas groß aus, aber man hat schließlich die Möglichkeit ihn gegen eine andere Größe einzutauschen sollte er nicht passen.Zur "klobigen" Erscheinung:Dies ist ein Winter - und kein Sommerschuh. Da erwarte ich, dass das Material fest und robust ist. Wenn ich einen Schuh möchte, der sich flexibel jeder Bewegung meines Fußes anpasst dann ziehe ich mir Sandalen oder Ballerinas an.Ich gehe auch in der kalten Jahreszeit viel spazieren. Mit Kind und Hund die ein oder andere Stunde querfeldein durch frostige Wiesen, vereiste Matschfelder etc.Ich kann mich nicht beschweren und bin absolut zufrieden.

leider konnte ich mit diesen Schuhe überhaupt nicht laufen, obwohl ich eigentlich nur etwas derbere Schuhe trage, aber diese haben einen so unnachgiebigen Schaft, daß jedes normale Laufen unmöglich macht. Sie gingen zurück, wobei ich ärgerlicherweise den Versand zahlen musste, den ich auch nicht zurückerstattet bekam:-(

....und wasserdicht. Ich finde hn auch sehr bequem auf langen Hundespaziergängen in Eis,Schnee und Schneematsch. Finde ihn auch optisch wirklich TOP.Ich hatte auch einen Sorel hier,aber der war mir vieeeeeel zu globig. Preis/Leistung stimmt hier

Gewohnt schnelle Lieferung, der Schuh ist wie beschrieben und dargestellt! Habe Größe 40 und Größe 40 passt wie angegossen. Die zwecks Vergleich zusätzlich bestellte Größe 41 geht zurück! Habe ihn bereits eingelaufen und bin zufrieden - warme, trockene Füße (allerdings noch bei Temperaturen über 0 Grad)!

Ich liebe sie.!Sie sind schön warm und bequem zum toben im schnee ideal.Ich würde sie mir jederzeit wieder kaufen :)
