Case Closed #2: Stolen from the Studio Paperback – April 14, 2020

This review is in the words of my 10 year old:"This is a very fun mystery book. There are many different ways you can read it. Once you get to certain points in the book you get to choose where to go next. Sometimes when it says "Case Closed" you have to restart the book and choose a different path because you lost. Other times, it says "Case Closed" because you have solved the mystery and completed the book. I like it because you get to choose which way you want to go. Reading it more than once is really fun because there are many different paths you can take."

In the book Case Closed Stolen from the Studio by Lauren Magaziner, the main characters are Eliza, Carlos, Frank, and Carlos's mother. The mom is a detective and she brought the three kids with her to Hollywood, California to solve a mystery. A teenage actress named Layla Jay went missing and no one knew where she was. Layla's mother was freaking out and could not wait one more second. She needed to find her daughter. This book is a choose your own path. The book gives you clues and puzzles and you get to choose which path to take.This entertaining book by Lauren Magaziner is very intriguing. I love how this story is a choose your own path because it makes it engaging and involves the reader. The choices create unexpected twists and turns in the plot. Another part I enjoy is the creative puzzles. They are tricky, tough, and toilsome. Furthermore, I loved how the book was very suspenseful. The suspense leaves the reader wanting to read more. This choose your own path mystery novel is riveting.

Not right for her age

My daughter loves these type of books! We just wish there were more options for older readers. This is a really fun series and we can't wait for the next one to come out!

Grandson love it

These books are well written and so entertaining. We have spent hours trying to discover all the possible endings. Filled with puzzles and interesting characters, the kids in your life will love these books.

I send my granddaughter a book a week because, like me, she's an 8-year-old who cannot get too many books. Her Mom says she finished it in one day!

Interesting book. There are clues that will lead you to different pages on the book. Would only recomind for middle schoolers or puzzle loving kids
