This product really interested me because we have a river running behind our home, thus lots of mosquitoes, and the kids and I hate getting bug sprayed to go outside to play. I also feel good about purchasing a product that is made in the USA (though the repellent pellets are made in France - still, it's not a country with a huge record of human rights violations). I would say that the product is sturdily made and very convenient to use. However, as some reviewers have mentioned, I found that it was only a partial solution. My feet in flip flops were still bothered by bugs, being far away from the clip on my belt loop. Also, I would expect as the pellet gradually dries out that the efficacy will wane. Bottom line is that this product is an excellent addition to a mosquito control regime, but it won't completely eliminate the need for bug spray. Still, anything that reduces the amount of smelly chemicals we need to put on our skin is a good thing. The kids, having smaller bodies, also found that they got more overall protection than I did. Next time I use it, even though the citronella smell is pretty potent, I might clip it to my collar and only use bug spray on my lower extremities, since I hate having bug spray on my face the most.I received a discount on this product in exchange for my honest review.

I was hopeful I'd finally found a solution to being food for any mosquito within a 100-mile radius. I was disappointed to find this is not the product for me. First the positive: The holder is well made and the repellent fits easily inside.My problem with this is the strong smell. I realize it is what is supposed to keep the mosquitos away, but I had a headache within a few minutes. I sat outside with this clipped to my pants, and was still bitten by mosquitos. I think I was bitten less than if I hadn’t had it on, and that is why I’m giving it 3 stars instead of 2.Note: This product was provided at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

When I received this item it already had an expiration date that had expired. The expiration date was 1/2020. I received this product in June 2020.

It works, as long as you can remember to keep it nearby. I chose this over the bracelet, because I received a discount on the price in exchange for writing an honest review. The bracelet was not offered. The unit works well. The problem I ran into was I placed it on my keychain, and many times I end up outside without my keys. Unless you are one to remember to attach this to you prior to going outside I would recommend purchasing the bracelet. I liked the way it worked enough that I will be purchasing the bracelet. Much more user friendly for forgetful users. I do like that it uses essential oils and not toxic chemicals. The small size is also convenient.

I bought this because it has good reviews. But after wearing it for an hour. I started getting bite by mosquitoes. IT WAS WASTED MONEY !!! I sent it back for a refund. They refunded my money. I used all of my credits. Just waiting to see if I get my credits back. It was over 12.00. I'm going that I get them back also.

Just as useless as the stickers. Smells a bit of citronella and the mosquitoes love to just land on it to prove they do nothing at all. We really will buy anything won't we.

What's not to love about this convenient little repellent clip? Well, it did not work well for me. I still got bites around my ankles and the scent is very strong to the point of being overpowering for people sensitive to scents which some young children are. The other problem I see with this is that after 15 days, I have to replace the refill which is kind of costly compared to buying a spray.This item was purchased at a discount for my honest, unbiased review.
