Book is too self-promoting
More like a huge promotion to sell memberships to his website Not as much strategy as many other books I have read, I stopped reading about 1/2 way through when I realized it centered upon membership to the website and I did not want to pay to join.

Power
This is a good book. I had just retired when I bought the book. I sold all of my stock and as a result, I did not use the book.

great book
I bought this book for my husband. He has dozens of stock trading books and thinks this one is very helpful & easy to understand.

You did it again
After reading your first book I really didn't know what to expect from this one. As usual, I was pleasantly surprised at the ease and style of Michael's writing. This is a genius who deals in the factual basis of making money in the stock market. I know this subject has been beaten to death but Waxie's approach is uncoinventional and it works. It takes the risk of being a day trader out of the trading decision. Limit your loses and maximize your profits. The theory is as old as the hills but we seem to forget it when we let conventional brokers destroy our hard-earned portfolios. There is always an excuse but the end result is you are the one that loses and you should be the one responsible for making a profit. With Parness as your mentor you just can not fail. This is a must read for all day traders and also for anyone with conventional brokers' losong strategies. Written in plain language that anyone can understand. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by reading this book.

A great book for day trading.
If you are a day trader and looking for ideas or new strategies to trade, this book is for you. You don't need to search the web for hours and buy dozen books on strategies . This book is well written and well worth the price.

Don't waste your money
First of all, this book is (or was) available for free through ads on various financial web sites. However, once Parness and/or the Trendfund people get your personal information, they will hound you with high-pressure phone calls attempting to get you to commit to becoming "a partner". The shtick is similar to tactics used by penny stock mongers and various scamsters who rely on the phone and finely crafted scripts to manipulate others into sending them money.Michael Parness does have a compelling story. However, you have to ask yourself: If this guy is really that good at "power trading", why does he and/or his associates need to use high-pressure sales tactics to generate income from others?
