what is the overall length of each hex bit socket?

they are all at the same length of 1.95 inches, please see the attached video.

Are these Allen keys for a drill

Yes and no the way they are shown they go on a rachet like a socket. But they do make a tool that go into you drill and a socket end on it then you would put the Allen Key scoket on and be able to use it in a drill. If yo u can not find a 3/8 ADP. buy the 1/4 and buy a ADp from 3/8 to 1/4 them woiuld be able to use it in a drill.

What a difference the right tool makes.

I bought these for my son-in-law. They’re having their first baby and have purchased a lot of items that need to be assembled. If you have assembled any of the furniture that you buy online, you know that you need a hex head tool and you will be doing a lot of twisting. This is the perfect answer! It’s such a great kit and a great value. You will need the adapters that allow your drill to be used. Dewalt has another option where you can buy the adapters for the socket head as well as this kit if you need it.

Bits Fit, Stack Nice, No Drama

This set slid right into my tool drawer like it was meant to be there… matched up with my other Dewalt cases perfectly, so now I don’t have a tool Tetris situation going on. The bits themselves feel sturdy, no signs of rounding or cheap metal nonsense. I’ve thrown a decent amount of torque at them and they haven’t flinched. Nothing flashy here, just good, dependable tools that don’t make me cuss mid-project.

Great Dewalt tool set.

Used the Torx Bit to install a bull bar on my Jeep with a Dewalt impact driver. Worked great. I still needed my torque wrench to set the correct torque, but worked great and install was done in under 10min.
