As someone who buys lots of antique glass, this is a great pocket sized UV light for identity uranium glass, flaws, etc. It has lots of other uses, like if you stay in hotels, you can make sure the sheets are clean! You can carry it in your pocket or purse, push the button on the end and you're in business.

Great item, small, portable.

I have tried a few different I’ve fkashlights including the Braun (from Harbor Freight) and the Hobby Lobby light before buying this light. This light is by FAR the most powerful. I’ve used it a few times to hunt down uranium glass and custard glass. It really makes them glow. I think it’s well made and it’s not too big so it fits comfortably in a pouch or pocket. I replaced the batteries with good quality alkaline batteries. I carry this light everywhere in case I go thrifting or to an antique mall. I keep the 2 other (less potent lights) at home. I’m not sure about other uses, but for my specific use it is fantastic and very highly recommended.

Good product, little pricy

Lightweight UV light with a design that fits comfortably in palm of hand and easily fits in travel bag or purse. Easy to hold and use. Average quality and durability but excellent for the price. Functional at finding stains. It takes 3 AAA batteries which are included but replaced with high quality batteries and it works even better. Good price for value and quality of product.

Little but works great showing my UV reactive crystals. Would definitely order again.

I’m sure the product works for certain applications, however I bought this product to try and find where, if anywhere, my cat had pee’d in my house. I shined it everywhere and nothing so I figured I’d give it a shot to point at the litter box. Not so much as the thought of anything glowing back at me. Does seem well built though, and it’s compact and bright.

I thought I had cleaned up pet urine using a cleaner made especially for that purpose. Ditto, red wine stains. Sure, I couldn't see them, but when I shone the black light on them, the showed up as bright spots. I attacked the stains with a sponge, cool water, and blotting. Gone! I wish I'd had this black light at the time of the stains.My only complaint is that it's a small product but Amazon sent it in an unnecessarily large box. Padded envelope would have worked. If you order this, make it part of a larger order to reduce packaging.
