They both worked well for my use in aluminum.

The media could not be loaded.  This review is for the NPT 1/4-18 drill/tap set. The drill does not bore a nice hole at all, even though the metal the bit is made out of seems to be of good quality and it came quite sharp. The tap is of good quality. Overall decent value set, although I'm really not sure what's up with the drill bit. Even though the whole that was drilled wanders a lot, the tap did end up removing enough material so that it was not an issue, other than affecting the tap's square alignment to the hole. I made a video, attached.

Tools are good for any metal drill or tap job,and should get plenty of use from them

Needed to modify original hold down tabs for the brake lines. New style uses a screw, so I needed to drill and tap holes to replace the fold over hold downs. This worked perfectly. Drilled the 12 holes I needed too, and tapped them without issue.

I used both on a 1/2” thick aluminum plate, bit nearly instantly went through aluminum and tape cut threads extremely smoothly and relatively quickly by hand

Worked great for what I needed it for. I installed an egt sensor in my exhaust manifold on a Cummins 5.9

It arrived quickly. I haven’t taken it out of the package yet but both bit and tap appear to be very straight and good quality

Nice to get the tap and drill as a combo so they work great together, worked for drilling and threading a hole for my EGT and boost pressure gauge.
