This book is geared towards fans of the Vampire diaries TV series but fans of the original book series would like it too. It features several essays about the background of Mystic Falls, its history and the people that have lived there and those that currently do. I especially enjoyed Claudia Gray's essay on the events of 1864. This book was originally published in 2011 and I wish they would publish an updated version of it.

para mi este libro me decepcinó, esperaba una guia completa del pueblo de mystic falls, como la que tengo de crepusculo, que me la compre en forks, el estado de washington y son cartas de fans, sinceramente aburridas y que no era lo que esperaba. no lo volveria a comprar.

Enjoyed this greatly lots of background to the series and the characters. I really enjoyed the article about meeting between the girls and the authors Jane Austen and Emily Bronte
