Good value for money . Contains the tank traps fence posts and trapezoidal fence posts. As stated the barbed wire is not included but a problem easily solved with a little string and paint . Leave the blobs of paint a little thicker in small places along the string and as it's drying take some tweezers and gently pull up on the blobs to stretch them out a little to create your own barbed wire effect . This will require patience .

This was purchased as an accessory to war games played my boys and their friends. One of them assembled it by himself and has had fun using it. Because it is not intended to be assembled over and over again, the boys use their imaginations in their games, which works just fine. It is also suited for model set-ups, i.e. trains, displays, etc. that are not being used to play with, but only for viewing. Either way, it serves its purpose.

The pictures on the box are not at all representative of what the kit contains. It comes with a small handful of basic steel tank traps (hedgehog pattern), basic wooden tank traps (pyramid pattern), and... that's it. No barbed wire, detailed parts, or other "extras". It is very, very sparse for the price you pay and this is something you could easily throw together with other materials. I'd recommend a pass on this.

Once again, it is an iem that seems to play across many war skirmishes, so the kids were happy that it worked with the Civil War soldiers as well as with the WWII soldiers.

Poor quality, don’t buy this.

Here is another example where sticks from your yard could have sufficed. Yes there are molded plastic pieces that represent iron. That's fine, but only half the box. The other half is simulated wood. Also, no wire. Limited uses for this kit.
