The 100 Best Romance Novels: From Pride and Prejudice to Twilight, Books to Fall in Love - and Lust - With

This book is horrible, terrible, evil and wicked. Oh, it's wonderfully written with clever reviews and tantalizing quotes from the featured books, bits of information on each of the featured writers which show how much research the authors did while pulling together their list of 100 books. But for heaven's sake, I thought I was well-read in the romance genre. How could I have missed some of these books? It'll take the rest of the winter to catch up. And that assumes I do nothing except read.But I already have dozens of unread ebooks in my Kindle and iTunes apps on my iPad. I have books waiting on hold at the library for me. The pile of books next to my bed will crush me if The Big One hits while I'm sleeping. And yet the authors of this book have the gall to give me even more books I want to read? Is this right? Is it fair?*sigh* I guess I can't unread this excellent book. So, if you'll excuse me, I have to make a run to the library, the bookstore, the Amazon and Bookmooch sites and see what I can find of the books they recommend.

An avid romance reader for thirty years I'd have thought I'd read most of these--and there are plenty of my favorite DIK's on here--but there are also plenty of books and even authors I haven't read. I'm busy adding those finds to my to be read pile!
