I *love* this thing. I've had mine for over a year now, and it still never ceases to amaze friends and come in handy in so many circumstances. It's an amazing coffee table piece, just sitting in the evening, giving a subtle light show. The battery lasts for a decent amount of time, although, not really sure it lasts for the boasted 10 hrs. This thing is amazing for taking to camp outs too. Not only just for a wicked cool lantern, but also because it's a SPEAKER of course! You'll have so much fun with your friends playing music by the camp fire, and also watching the provided psychidelic light show. The light is on the spendy side, but if you ask me, its worth the money. I've gotten so much use out of this thing, and it always starts up a conversation about how weird and unique it is. Rad.

I'm a High School Cheerleading Coach and was looking for something to play the music on but also something I can use at home for myself. It is perfect size, not too small but not too big. The sound is good quality and gets very loud! Very pretty in person and eye catching!Recommended for sure!!

This is AWESOME!!!! I can't stop using it, whether for a light at night or while playing music. The speakers work great for what I need it for. The colors are so vibrant and amazing, even at the low level lighting. I highly recommend this item!! It blows away the JBL Pulse speaker in my opinion!

I have tested and reviewed several Bluetooth speakers in the recent past and I would rate the IceDiamond very highly amongst these. The sound quality is perfectly adequate and as good as one could reasonably expect from a speaker of this size. The bass and treble both perform well. I noted a little distortion at maximum sound levels, but that is not at all surprising and not a significant criticism as it is normal with portable speakers of this size. The unit has a patented stereo system which noticeably improves the stereo effect for the listener.It is in the visual field that the IceDiamond really comes into its own. Other reviewers have compared it to a portable party, and I would certainly not disagree with that. With its rather futuristic shape and variety of lighting effects, it looks absolutely sensational in a darkened room as it rotates through the various colour combinations. In fact it can perform this routine independently of playing music, so used just as a light source it can alternate as a very attractive lamp. It will either rotate between colours or you can have a changing multicolour or rainbow effect which was quite sensational and rather beautiful.It was extremely simple to pair the speaker with an iPad which recognised it straight away and, within seconds it was set up and playing music streamed from YouTube. The range was good and it worked fine in excess of 20 feet from the transmitting device. The remote control is very useful to perform functions such as changing the colour routine, brightness level or in turning off the colour display so that you are just using the audio facility. There are music controls including forward, back, pause and volume controls with a mute button as well as the on/off button and a button for connecting back to the last device it was connected to, be it phone, iPad or whatever. All far easier than fiddling around with controls on the speaker. This unit has a built in battery and it will operate for 10 hours once it is fully charged.I never thought I would get so enthusiastic about a Bluetooth speaker, but I really thought this was an excellent item. My teenage daughter was also enthused and attempted to put in a takeover bid for it, but was firmly seen off! Definitely well worth a Five Star rating. Very good looking but audio is not really high. I like the lights and that is portable. It has a cute little black bay to carry it out. I wouldn't buy one more.

This speaker is beautiful, no doubt, but the sound quality is absolutely terrible. Is it loud? Yes. Full bodied sound? Actually pretty good. BUT the PITCH of the music winds up and down sporadically and sounds like you're listening to some twisted warped music in the twilight zone. It's so bad that the music actually changes key. I find this absolutely ludicrous for a SPEAKER! Especially considering that I purchased mine when it was $200! If you're streaming audio from YouTube or Netflix or something it's fine because the pitch winding isn't really noticeable. But if you're using this for, ya know, what it's mainly intended for, MUSIC, then... Pass! Absolutely not worth the money regardless of how "pretty" it is.
