Fast, Reliable, Great Price
Like that's its fast compared to 3700x, or a 2600x, great cpu for what is needed. Gaming at 2k with 6800 nonxt gets around 130-140fps not the greatest but decent! I use a 5900x thing is fast left over for more...

Crazy fast for price.
No on board gpu means a tad harder to build with. But that means more back end speed.Only 10th gen, if you can go 11. But price is good. Will likely buy again for low high end builds. Only draw back no pcie 4, as it's 10th gen.

Very Underrated
There is nothing wrong with this processor. Depending on the motherboard you choose you will see a difference in performance. I choose the AsRock W480 Creator. Anandtech.com has a great article on this processor. Also Steve at Gamers Nexus has great information on the behavior of the 10700k with different motherboards. With my board I have seen the power draw go to 183 watts at 4.6mhz during cinebench r23 for around 50 seconds, then the processor's power draw drops to 95 watts and it slows to 3.6 mhz. When I actually encode a video it uses 82 watts at 4.6mhz. So it depends on what you are doing. I use a Noctua NH U 9s cooler with dual fans. Temps average 68 c at the highest. Browsing the internet or using Microsoft Word it idles at 29c and 30 watts. Not much a game player these days but it will use around 40 watts and temps are around 60c. I like it and would not hesitate to purchase another if needed.

Exactly What I Needed
It fixed my bottleneck immediately, upgraded from my intel i5-6 core CPU. The cooling fan comes already thermal-pasted, but it is a crappy system that in no way will be efficient. Fortunately, I have my own paste and just used my old fan, at least until I can get a really good one. But, I didn't buy it for the fan.

Future proof
I wanted today a powerful CPU that can match or even surpass the performance of the Xbox series X CPU, someday games will requiere 8 cores 16 threads as a minimun, so why not get it today? That's why I went with a core i7 instead of a more cheaper 6C12T core i5.But beware, is hot as hell, it requires an excellent cooler to achieve sub 60°C temps.

Power
This product is performing better than I thought, I wanted an i9 but this was the next best thing for the money, so I’m very pleased I recommend the i7 for any gaming pc that’s not gonna be pushed to the maximum over clock or specs, but very great cpu
