Glides Effortlessly Across The Page
Smooth, reliable, and a joy to write with. These pens are a must-have for any pen enthusiast. Worth the money.

The other Reviewers are right - these are GREAT pens!
I'm glad I found these - they write very smoothly and are easy to hold. The best thing about them is that the ink dries instantly so no smearing. I love the way rollerball pens glide along the paper, but I've always stayed away from them because of the tendency toward wet ink, but these are the exception. I've had the pens for a week and tonight I ordered two more sets, proof of my satisfaction!

Does NOT skip!
I bought these 1.0m because I was writing directions to something that I wanted to easily see. Strange indeed that the Uni .07m gel pens actually appear bolder than these due to the feathering of the gel. Also, the gel is a darker, truer black. However, these write beautifully & do not skip.

The Wirecutter needs to recalibrate.
This is a nice ball point ink pen with a fast drying permanent ink. Which makes it a great pen for left handed people. I like it and will continue to use it but the writing experience is too fluid and effortless for me. As a left-handed person I would characterize it as slippery. I need a little bit of feedback and some drag to be able to write legibly. It takes me quite a bit of concentration and effort to produce nice legible script with the 1.0mm Jetstream. It’s just too much work. The 0.5mm might be a better fit for left handed people but you give up some darkness and I didn’t want to go any lighter. This may be a 1.0mm pen but it makes a 0.7mm line. The darkness of the ink is ok but not as dark as their 207 gel pens. The quality of the drawn line is above average for a ball point pen but is in no way outstanding. There are small artifacts and micro skips typical to ball points. This pen is also a little touchy as far as writing angle goes. The closer the tip is to perfectly vertical the darker and neater the script. I have to adjust my writing style to use it. If you are a right handed person and you like an effortless writing experience then you will probably love this instrument. It is a well made pen. There was no wobble or play between the barrel and the tip, just a good snug fit. If you like roller balls their 0.7mm 207 is a nice journaling instrument. It also has a permanent fast drying ink. The 207 makes a very dark satisfying expressive line which is wider than the Jetstreams 1.0mm tip.

Very smooth writing.
It is a smooth writing pen as advertised. A pleasure to use. The red and blue pens have red and blue ink respectively. I am not seeing any way to change the ink cartridge, so I guess I will throw out the pen when it runs out of ink.

My favorite pen.
I can't seem to find these in B&M stores any more. Thankfully Amazon has them. These pens usually last me two to three years if I don't lose them first.Black and blues are usually problem free for me. I have no complaints about the black or blue.I don't use red ink too often, but red is always the problem child. I've yet to have a red Jetstream working until the ink runs out.

The best pen out there. Writes smoothly, always without smearing.
The Uniball Jet Stream is my go to pen and has been the last 10+ years. For some reason it has been hard to find at retail stores. Note that sometimes the Japanese version has a smaller body for the pen so save your pen casing and just replace the actual pen cartridge itself.
