Pros:It does the job of removing moss and weeds from the surface of blockwork, and in the gaps between the blocks, well.Cons:Battery charge (on the smaller 2.5 Ah battery) lasts only about 25 minutes. Actually that may be more a pro than a con because using the device for 25 minutes is definitely as much as I want to do;Badly balanced for such a heavy device;Difficult to control, rather like a badly trained dog. It's constantly trying to shoot off to the left;The switch on the handle is too sensitive - at even the merest twitch of a finger it switches off;After about twenty minutes' use the device starts repeatedly cutting out and won't restart for about thirty seconds - this could be caused by overheating in the motor or by overstretching the battery, but it shouldn't happen;Finally, and the reason I've given it only one star, I've just attempted to replace a worn nylon bristle strip for the first time but can't get the central boss that holds it in place to unscrew (and yes, I do know it's an American thread), thus rendering the entire, expensive device useless.

Not very good for weeds plastic cuter wears out too quick

The unit itself works very good, but the nylon fingers wear out very quickly, coild have been made with a harder plastic.

Let me start by saying it does a great job of removing surface weeds, moss etc. My main complaint is the bristles wear out very quickly, my yard isn't huge and I got through the 1st set in one use. No problem it came with 2, I'll swap it out. The locking device for the bristles will not budge, yes I'm turning it clockwise, in the manual it recommends inserting a screwdriver for more leverage if it's stuck which resulted in a bent screwdriver. I'm out of ideas and also return's window, so it's gonna be a hassle to return it. Apart from that, it's okay at most.Edit: Returned the item and ordered a replacement, review doesn't change, the 2nd one had the same problem. Not what I expected from Karcher, definitely would NOT recommend.

This is a very poor product. The bristle head easily breaks. The header into which the bristles fit again is poorly designed.This product is not fit for purpose and should be withdrawn from the market.

Brought this thought look good for getting weeds out then open box coming in saying battery not included did not say anything when ordering it about no battery with it be sending back
