Q: How big is the hat? Is it adjustable?

The hat is a good size and it is adjustable. I usually get large to extra large hats and it still has a few notches left to expand when it is comfortably adjusted to my head.

Q: Does this vest meet most state Game department 400 square inch requirement?

I’m not huge into math, but it’s about 26 1/2” tall and 24” inches wide on the back. 9” wide per side on the front. I attached the measurement photos to my review if you want to see them yourself.
