Amazon Basics 11 Inch Felt MacBook Laptop Sleeve Case, Light Grey

I just got my first Mac and was looking for a way to carry it without worrying about scratches, small drops, dings, etc. I ordered this sleeve from Amazon Basics for about $9.00, and it has been a great case so far!The grey felt on the outside looks classy (I got the light grey color) and is thick and padded enough to offer protection from short drops and scratches, but is light and pliable enough to be folded if necessary. The interior of the sleeve is lined with a microfiber material that reminds of the texture of the cleaning cloth provided with the Mac. It also has a large pocket on the front underneath the flap, and two pockets on the back.I use this case as supplement to the backpack I always take with me, so I only use the front pocket to store the cleaning cloth and a pair of headphones. I bought this case to put the Mac in, and then put inside my backpack so that other junk in my back wouldn't scratch up the computer. It also works great for when I'm just carrying the Mac around the house or set it down on a table or something (I have a two year old, anything not in a protective case is in danger of smudges, smashes, or submerging (the toilet has killed a few other pieces of gear in recent months).I've seen some people saying that this case doesn't leave any room for a snap on cover on a Macbook Pro. I don't have a cover like that, and don't really want one (hence buying this sleeve), but I feel like there might be enough room for a thinner snap on cover. The sleeve fits the Macbook Pro snug enough, but there is still a little bit of wiggle room.The velcro closure works like you would expect. It's velcro. It sticks together. Not much else to add.Overall, this sleeve is fantastic for what their asking. The quality you get for $9 is better than some other accessories I've bought for much more. I would probably have paid double for a product of similar build quality if this one wasn't so cheap.Hope this helps!

I wasn't sure if the 11" would fit the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 but it does indeed fit! No issues with the velcro. It's stitched well and aligns perfectly. The dimensions of my computer are 11.4 x 7.9 x 0.30 inches, so there was a little room to spare on the side...but not much. Just enough room to fit my S pen, which is great. The pockets are a little snug with no zippers, but I knew this going in. The outside pockets fit a mobile charger and cord, but would fit a cell phone as well. The front pocket would fit an additional 10 inch tablet with room to spare. The bag is very well made and the felt material is high quality, with a soft velvety lining. Overall, I really like the look and feel of this bag. However, if you are looking for something super rugged and waterproof, this isn't it. Again, it is felt. As for me, I was looking for something light weight, slim, with a classic look...which is exactly what I got. I went with the lovely charcoal color, which I find most stylish. As it is right now, I am very happy with this purchase. Definitely worth the money. Can't really beat the price.

This is a very simple felt laptop sleeve that I'm using to hold my MacBook Pro 13 inch (2015 model). Since I don't have any plastic cases covering my laptop, when it is inside the sleeve it feels like it's sliding side to side just a little. Some may feel a little uncomfortable carrying the expensive laptop in this sleeve due to the minor horizontal movement. The velcro cover portion can keep the laptop from moving in the vertical motion.I'm keeping my five star because I bought this item knowing that there is a little give without any plastic covers on the macbook. It does look fairly professional as opposed to carrying it in a backpack as I did when I was a college student. The felt is a nice thickness of about 3mm in thickness. The corners of the sleeve are sewn together so I actually think this may provide even greater protection than many of the other sleeves or cases that are sold. (Although, I never tried a drop test or anything like that to confirm it... I actually don't think this sleeve would save the computer if it was dropped on it's corner.)AmazonBasics has a bunch of reliable, useful products that I needed to try this out. AND I'm happy that I did. I do have other laptop cases and sleeves such as the Case Logic 13 inch case but it's really hard to beat the look of this felt sleeve.Inateck also had a felt sleep that pretty much looked like this product. After much deliberation, I chose this AmazonBasics sleeve due to 1)Price, 2)Name Brand of AmazonBasics 3)Final look of the product. But again, based on both reviews it looks as if either product would work well.I may update in the future how this sleeve is doing and possibly post some photos as well.

This is a great sleeve for the cheap price, but the felt could be nicer quality and I'm not a huge fan of the AmazonBasics logo. My 2012 MacBook Pro is a very tight fit, but the newer MacBook Pros are slimmer and would fit quite nicely (will update if it stretches at all for easier fitting).PROS:-- Cheap price-- Construction feels mostly solid!-- Nice color against faux leatherCONS:-- 2012 MacBook Pro fits pretty tightly (actually hard to get it in, not as bad to get it out)-- The back pockets are a little awkward, in my opinion (see photo) -- I actually think they should have kept it simple and not even made any pockets, because you can't fit much in these anyway-- Felt could feel a little nicer-- AmazonBasics logo (but the faux leather actually looks pretty nice against the grey felt)

Ho acquistato questa custodia per PC portatile senza cerniera a marchio Amazon Basics per un Chromebook da 15,6 pollici, ed è semplicemente perfetta. Per il tessuto con cui è realizzata che offre la massima protezione senza nessuna parte metallica, per la dimensione che sembra esser stata realizzata appositamente, per la quantità di tasche disponibili (oltre a quella grande che contiene il PC, ve n'è un'altra nella parte anteriore di grandi dimensioni e due più piccole della dimensione di un natel in quella posteriore) e non da ultimo per il costo d'acquisto. La chiusura è garantita da una banda in velcro che offre la massima solidità, le cuciture sono robuste e il rivestimento interno è morbido. Penso che davvero per tutte le sue caratteristiche, sia l'ottimo per un portatile. Ad alcuni potrebbe mancare una cintura, ma questa è una custodia e come tale è davvero il massimo.Mi sento di consigliarla!

Perfect , compact and great value for money

Diese Tasche ist sehr gut verarbeitet und liegt gut in der Hand, wenn man sie unter dem Arm trägt. Ich benutze sie, um die 10,4 Zoll großen Tabs meiner Tochter und mir hochkant nebeneinander zu befördern. Das hellgraue Filz passt farblich sehr gut zu jeder Art von Kleidung. In die Taschen an der Vorderseite passen Stifte und z.B. Autoschlüssel. Zur Wasserdichtigkeit kann ich nicht viel sagen, ich hatte nicht vor, damit baden zu gehen. :-) Außerdem wird die Tasche nach oben hin nur mit einer Klappe verschlossen, die auch Luft durchlässt. Das war aber auch kein Kauf entscheidender Punkt. Das Material ist sehr dicht und fühlt sich sehr gut an, ich bin froh, daß ich sie in dieser Größe gekauft habe. Alles in allem sehr schön und schön anzusehen. Auch als Dokumententasche würde sie sich gut machen. Vielen Dank für dieses tolle Produkt! Ich würde sie jederzeit wieder kaufen. 1+++ Daumen hoch
