Onikiri F-588 1045 Carbon Steel Revised Blade Handmade Katana Sword

First I would like to state that this is a reversed bladed sword not "revised" blade or what ever that is. I for one think it's a shame that the beauty of a piece only has 1.5 stars because of this miss labling.Now to review this sword.The length of the blade and handle are perfect. The weight is a little on the shy side for my liking but I'm also a rather large person standing at 6'4". The handle wrap is nice and tight for a dead set grip and proper handling. It is full Tang allowing for a full carry through with your swings. The tip is a little rounded and slightly awkward looking, but I'm assuming that's from the blade being on the back as this is not a common style. The blade while being on the back of the sword it insanely sharpAll in all I am really happy with my purchase due to the fact that I read the reviews beforehand and saw that it's a reversed blade sword.However im a little upset that I bought it and no more then a day later it went from 75$ down to 32$. But now I'll have mine forever and I love it.Would give more stars if I could

Apparently There is a comic where the blade is on the backside but never seen this in person the idea of a reverse blade is impractical serves no purpose so the sharp edge is not in the direction you would be swinging the blade instead it is on the edge facing toward you again on the back of the spine.It is a real shame because the packaging and workmanship for under $40 is a phenomenal value should the blade only be designed in a proper manner however this deserves no attention based on how it was intended to be designed or as it has been sold to and miss marketed shame on Amazon for even letting this be a sellable item

You sent me a sword with a backwards blade. This is insulting to those who respect this martial art with high regard to traditions. Although the rest of the sword is of good quality it is a shame about the blade. Otherwise it would be a fine weapon. The price was excellent. I wish I could acquire the same sword except with a proper blade.

To everyone making bad comments it’s supposed to be a reverse blade not revised. Also in rurouni Kenshin the blade is meant for a symbol of peace so when you hit with the front it knocks the opponent out instead of killing.

It arrived fast, great blade balance and craftsmanship
