Did you know this is the best rope bag?
Great bag. Easily fits my 70m climbing rope and has plenty of space for more gear in it. Has a little zip pocket which is super nice too. Definitely a great rope bag. Would recommend to anyone and I love the way it looks.Only con is that the straps are so small. That’s okay though, since it’s not the heaviest load. I’m sure it’ll get a little heavier with shoes, harness, and safety gear but it’s a fantastic purchase. Would definitely buy again.

Nice to keep your rope separate from the rest of your gear!
Nice and compact, ultralight, but the tarp is bit on the small side and needs to be weighted even in mildly windy conditions.

Does indeed have top pouch
One review expressed disappointment that there was no zippered top pouch. The top pouch is certainly there, and is the inverted pouch with which the bag is stuffed into during transport.I have no issues, and this is my second purchase of this bag. My first bag was stolen with all my gear out of my trunk, and in reacquiring all of my gear this bag remains the most suitable available. Drawstring around a large opening, zippered pouch, and with (minimally padded) shoulder straps.I only wish there were other colors and possibly one more tarp loop to be comparable to a competitors half rope burrito. And that my first had not been stolen.

Thin material, very small tarp
Positives, Cheap $, Lite weight, negatives, Very thin material doubt that it will hold up very long, the tarp is small, returning it, amazed, how many positive reviews, could be a good rope bag, if it had heavier material and a larger tarp, over 40 years of climbing experience.

Great Compact Bag
The tarp isnt that large, but its large enough to work and my 70M packs down unbelievably small with this bag ( see pic ). I cut off the backpack straps since I carry my rope in the pack.

Great rope bag but needs better shoulder straps.
This rope bag works really well. I am an arena rigger and I can fit my 90’ rope, harness and hook lanyard, a few carabiners, slings and a few other small things no problem. The tarp that comes built in is useful. I wrapped my rope in it when it started to rain and still fit everything nicely. The small pocket up top held a battery bank, carabiner, and a few small things without a problem while being packed too.One of my only gripes is that the shoulder straps could be a bit comfier.I would recommend this bag. I like it and use it constantly. Besides the shoulder straps, it’s awesome. Hope this helps you.

Tarp isn't big enough, but great otherwise
My 60m rope was spilling off the sides of the tarp while me and my mates were belaying at the local crag. It's quite disappointing but also the ad clearly states the size of the tarp so entirely on me. The material of the tarp is a little thin and the clips on the front are a bit finicky. Those negatives aside, great bag, with plenty or room to spare after packing my rope messily into the bag at the end of the climb. Packs down quite nicely. Value for money for sure.
