The Malaysian trumpet snails is a burrowing snail that is great if you have any sized planted tank, these snails will aerate the substrate when they burrow by releasing trapped gases caused by decaying organics, these gases if not released will cause the root system of live plants to eventually die or even kill live fish.------Berried female starting colony 5 to 8 shipped, This will need someone with at least beginner knowledge of this species. The shrimp will be void of color upon arrival so please allow a few days for them to adjust and allow the color to return. All shrimp will be gravid 3/4" females, these shrimp are Cherry to Sakura grade. These shrimp are great addition to any sized aquarium from the 3 gallon nano to the 180 show tank. Add these to your already established cleaning crew or start putting one together with a few of these. Red cherry shrimp are also a great way to add some vibrant color to any planted tank. These shrimps are useful when adding color to your planted tank.
