Lightweight and waterproof, very easy to set up
When this item arrived, we were in the middle of a torrential downpour for about 5 days. Setting up the tent was super quick and very easy and we started this inside the house. My 9 year old even said, "That was easy" when we had finished. When the rain stopped for about an hour, we walked the tent outside into the backyard and pegged it to the ground. Then the torrential rain continued for another few days. Each day, I looked inside the tent and dry as a bone. Very well made and the design is very well thought out. In terms of the dual door openings, this is an excellent design where falling rain didn't go into the tents as you enter. This tent was used with the groundsheet suited for it. The only minor comment is that the ground sheet was made only for the foot print of the tent base and not the door opening areas.

Would have been a 4.5 stars if I could
I purchased the 3 person Gray Bessport for a small hiking trip that is coming up. I tested the tent by taking it to the local campgrounds just to see how I felt about it.It is a lightweight tent, easy to add to someone's backpack without adding too much of a load. When I set up the tent, I began to connect the tent poles and was surprised to see that they were all connected to form the frame. I was able to get the frame on the tent easily by myself. There are no fabric loops to put the poles through, instead it is all plastic clips to attached the fabric to the frame. The fly also went on easily by myself. The description says that there are supposed to be clips to attach the fly to each corner. This was mostly true, mine had three of the four clips, with one being replaced with a loop that I just hooked over the stake. I was the idiot who tried to push the stakes through rocks and bent three of them in the process, so i doubt it was the stakes fault for bending. Each of the stake loops had an additional circle of string attached on it, probably to make staking it down easier. Two of these additional loops came undone while I was staking it and two more came undone in moderately light wind.I am 6'7" and this was a good length for me to sleep in. There was maybe 8-12" of wiggle room split between both my head and feet. I'm a bigger guy and could easily see using this three person tent to sleep with someone of equal size and our gear in the tent. Zipper troubles can be a pain with a tent, but I didn't have any issue with the inside door or the fly zipper. I didn't see it in the item pictures and I didn't think to take one while I had the tent erect, but there isn't a hard definition from where the wall ends and the floor begins, meaning that all the walls sloped in until it was the floor. The tent protected me from the light wind (20 mph WNW) extremely well. It was a bit chilly at 35-40F, so it will be great once it warms up a bit more.Taking the tent down was incredibly easy. With no rush whatsoever, I took the tent down and put it in the bag in 12 minutes alone. The bag was also big enough that with my poor folding job I was able to get the tent in the bag.TLDR:Pros:-Easy Set Up/Take Down-Light Weight-Sleeps a tall guy-Weather Resistant-No Zipper IssuesCons-Something that was unnecessary anyways came undone-One of the four corner clips wasn't on the fly, but still functional

I would love to try new products from Bessport
So heres the correct review for anyone scrolling and thinking about picking up a new tent or adding another to their collection. My family and i are very Experienced Ruff it Campers. Im here to tell you this Tent is Amazing! The frame is a solid one piece, lightweight, very very easy to assemble. Tent goes up in 2min or less. Guylines and stakedowns are located in great positions. The entire tent can fit in a backpack. We have been using this tent for about 6 weeks now and last night Oh My! We were camping with 3 other family’s and a Super Cell came up on us. Weather Channel suggested it would be 12-16 mph winds with the severe thunderstorm but as we laid there we were hit with 60+ easy. This storm was unbelievable. Within 3 min of it starting my kids tent which they say can withstand high winds folded up like a taco and my kids were in panic mode. Doing my natural father instinct i got them outta there quick and returned to home. Peoples campers were rocking almost getting blown over. I left our Bessport out there kinda pissed because i didnt want to lose it too with my stuff inside it only to find out this morning this Beast is still standing like nothing ever happened. Im dead serious! It should be 5 miles into the lake but no. 100% still dry inside. The footprint also did great that I purchased with it. DONT BUY ANYTHING THAT DOESNT SAY BESSPORT. I own several high dollar tents that you pay for the brand name and Bessport doesnt fall short to any one of those brands. So if you come across this Review debating which tent you should buy, i’ve answered your debate for you. We cant wait to try future Bessport products. Have a Blessed day to you all and be safe out there

Great tent for a casual camper.
pretty easy to assemble even in the wind. The pole assembly is a little confusing at first so look at the instructions to see how they all link together before trying it the first time. The material is really light and I don't have high hopes that it will be an heirloom piece of camping gear that will be passed down to my grandkids, but... ~ I've camped in it on 3 trips this summer ~It sets up and tears down quickly ~It is spacious ~It’s well ventilated ~The rain fly covers it completely and kept me dry in one hellacious thunderstorm ~It rolls up pretty compact ~the polls seem sturdy enoughThe stakes are kinda flimsy but even more expensive tents come with cheapo stakes.I like the gear loft that hangs from above. It's not huge but keeps valuables up and out of the way.

Pretty good tent
This is not a sponsored review, I was in the market for a car-camping 3 person tent for my family and ended up trying a bunch of tents from amazon and returning many of them, since they didn't meet my expectations of quality and usability. I wasn't trying to consciously do that, but I kept finding something wrong with the tents or they didn't meet my use case. In some cases I was even nit-picky. But I've gained a good idea of the products on amazon in the $100-200 price range for a larger 2-3 person tent. I figured other people in similar situation as me, can gain from my experience, since its hard to find good and dependable reviews for newer products like this. This is a pretty good tent overall. The one pole system is super easy to assemble and very intuitive.I found it risky to put all the load of a big (3p) tent on a single rod system. If the 1 pole ever breaks while you're camping, you have no structure at all, which I find unsettling. The Aluminum Poles are fine, but I did not feel that these would take the load of a large tent in harsh windy conditions in the long run. Granted I did not put it through those conditions myself, I didn't feel like risking it myself and I returned it for that reason. But everything else about it, is decent. A good middle of the road tent. If I wanted to keep the tent, I would buy a spare set of poles and always leave it in the car (i.e. for car camping only). I liked it enough, that I ordered their 2 pole 4-5 person tent, since my only issue with the tent was the poles and I needed something bigger for car camping. I have also not subjected it to rainy weather, but just by looking at it, I felt comfortable enough for my usage, where mostly it will be in good weather, but occasionally, it might rain and pour. This fits just below tents like an Alps Aries or Lynx. Alps has thicker poles which feel solid and the tent fabric is slightly higher quality. But they also cost more. This one is decent for the price. Its also very similar to Featherstone granite tent, in overall build quality and design. Definitely a big step up from the likes of colemans.
