KRUPS Newer Model Drip Coffee Maker, 10-Cup, Silver

I wanted a mini coffee maker to save space. This coffee maker is really tiny but makes up to 5 cups of coffee. Built in filter is a bonus as it’s reusable. Water level and coffee level so you add the correct water level for the number of cups. Easy. Coffee tastes plenty strong. Coffee is very hot which I like. Brews fast.

Just a great machine. Nice eye appeal, compact, easy to operate, and makes a great cup of coffee. I bought a Melitta machine for more $$$ which functioned well. Unfortunately, they saw fit to equip it with a $.99 electric cord. Stiff as a board and it failed prematurely Perhaps Melitta should stick to making coffee filters. Moved to this "Beauty" and am a "Happy Camper". I did read the Krups reviews and as far as the water tank lid, i applied light pressure to take it over center a couple times and it stays there just fine. No need to "John Wayne" it, just LIGHT pressure. P.S. The Krups cord is heavy duty and pliable.

Heavy duty coffee makerWith good price. Has survived daily use over the last years without issue. I hate glass and this stainless steel is easy to wash and soak for cleanings. My only small issue comesFrom everyone who pours the coffee.. you need to push the Tab open for coffee to flow... conversely the coffee is hot longer without hearing element working

UPDATE to review- there was unfortunately a defect with this coffee maker. It was going to be more complicated going thru krups to send it to them, have them evaluate it before deciding if they'd repair it before sending it back to us. With Amazon it was very easy, uncomplicated good customer service where they will send a replacement and I return this defective one. Amazon continues to make us feel confident in buying thru them. Now I really hope this second krups coffee maker work well. We had high hopes with the krups name, especially with this high price. And at this point I do think we I wr paid. Probably should have chose a different coffee maker *** I really like this coffee maker. Appearance is very nice, easy to clean. And with other coffee makers where the burner usually is with other, that area chips away eventually due to the daily heating. With this being the karaf that continues the heating, takes that problem away. We haven't had this long, and so far love it. Things I've noticed -This is actually a 12 cup, not a 14 cup but I'm ok with that. Only other issue we're trying to figure out, first time using it, it shut off multiple times and we'd have to restart it. That has happened only once more since then as we're using it daily for a month now. We read thru instructions but cannot find what would cause that. If you know please comment

This is a fine coffee maker. I like its smaller profile. The keep hot feature works like crazy! The last cup is as steaming hot as the first cup.It brews quickly.All around, it’s a great little machine.

I love this little coffee maker! It's higher priced than others, but in this case you get what you pay for. I like the way it looks on my countertop, I have limited space and it's elegant looking. It feels upscale, and for something you have to look at every day, it's worth it. Brews really well, is sturdy, and comes with a really nice reusable filter.

Sleek and stylish. Had all the bells and whistles I wanted in a coffee maker. Coffee tasted fine, no complaints about quality of the brew or the time it took to make a full pot. The pot, though, was slightly smaller than I anticipated. Not all "12 cups" are measured the same, and this is a bit egregious.The touchbuttons on the front - not always easy to depress. Had to press a bit harder than I wanted, but then sometimes it would recognize accidental light touches. And the programming was a bit challenging to remember what button does what (labeling isn't the greatest).The brew basket was easy to overfill with water, so the design allows it to short circuit itself out of operation. But it died after 1 week, so returned it. Too bad, I like the Krups brand but had to move on.

Needed to replace a old Mr Coffee. Makes great coffee. Easy to use. Only one problem I have encountered: When pouring water into the machine, it is very hard to keep from spilling water all over the machine and counter. The area that you pour the water into is somewhat small, and the pot's shape and lid make the job that much more difficult. The coffee pot lid cover is mounter very loose.
