Perfect Upgrade for HP 260 G1 i3-4030U DM
16GB (2x 8GB) 1Rx8 PC3L-12800S 1.35V KitI have a 2014 HP 260 G1 i3-4030U mini-PC that came with a single 4GB stick of RAM as standard. The CPU supports dual-channel RAM up to a total of 16GB, so dropping in a pair of 8GB sticks at this price seemed to make perfect sense.I'm running Kubuntu 24.04, and performance has definitely improved noticeably with less choppiness and lag when running multiple applications at once. It's also improved integrated graphics performance by up to 50% in benchmarks. It's no super-computer, but it's nice to know that it's now running as fast and smoothly as it possibly can. For a sub-£14 upgrade, this has definitely been worth every penny. If you have one of these, it's also worth replacing the 2.5" 500GB HDD with an SSD. I went for a 1TB Integral V Series V2 Plus for £47 and the improvement this brings is, quite frankly, mind blowing!

Perfect for upgrading older PCs.
I recently converted an old desktop PC into a media station for my living room to watch films, browse the internet, and play classic games like Tomb Raider and Age of Empires on the main TV. After upgrading the operating system, hard drive, and graphics card, I decided to complete the overhaul by boosting its memory from 8GB to 16GB.I had never heard of this brand before and had never used any of their memory products, so I was a bit hesitant. However, the option for same-day delivery was exactly what I needed, so I decided to give them a try. I'm thrilled that I did!The memory modules arrived quickly and were well-packaged, ensuring they were in perfect condition. I opted for the 16GB kit (2x8GB) instead of a single 8GB stick due to the excellent price. The installation process was straightforward and quick: shut down your desktop, unplug the power cable, hold the power button to discharge any remaining power, open the clips at the side of the old memory modules, remove them, slide the new modules into the slots, and push down on the modules to lock them in place. After plugging the power cable back in and powering the desktop on, I was all set. Viewing the new memory capacity in Task Manager confirmed everything was installed correctly. Both sticks worked flawlessly without any stability or compatibility issues with my motherboard. With a speed of 1333MHz, these modules aren't the fastest on the market, but for my purposes – using the desktop as a media centre and playing older, less demanding games – they are more than sufficient. Gamers looking to upgrade might prefer faster modules, but these have made a noticeable difference to my system's performance.Several months in, the memory modules continue to perform perfectly. I've even run some memory benchmark tests and found no issues. As mentioned before, they aren't the fastest modules available, but they do the job admirably. At their current price for two modules, they offer fantastic value for money, and I was even able to get them the same day, which I really appreciated. If you're looking for an affordable way to upgrade or replace the memory in an older desktop, I highly recommend these modules. They've significantly improved my system's performance and reliability, making them a worthwhile investment.Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I hope that you found it helpful and that it assists you in your decision-making. I try to be as honest and fair as possible, as those have always been the reviews that helped me the most.

Good memory
Never heard of motoeagle before, but based on reviews I went for them.Put them into laptop and switched on. Task Manager performance and all 16 GB showed up immediately.LaterJust bought another pair. I checked my other computer using the wmic get maxmemory command and found that it could take 16gb rather than the 8gb manufacturer stated. It was also stated as 10800 (1333mhz) ddr3 max. That computer accepted these and uses them as 16gb, 1600mhz,, rather than advertised 8gb 1333mhz max.Ddr3l are dual voltage so will work in ddr3 slots.Overall a very good purchase, memory increase in size and speed.Additionally, using the programme hwinfo, when you examine these memory sticks it seems that though badged as motoeagle, internally they are actually Samsung.Overall I would recommend these memory sticks if you want ddr3 or ddr3l. Also they are 1R (1 rank of chips) which are faster than the 2R (2 ranks of chips).

Works well on my Synology DS224+
Significantly improved the responsiveness of my new Synology DS224+ NAS - I took a flyer on this one rather than using one of the ones listed as compatible by Synology.
