Book is simple. Real simple which is a great praise for the author who broke down a poem and Norse wisdom to its base components so anyone who doesn't understand can learn. The poem is simple and kinda acts as guidelines of the stoic lifestyle and wisdom. Most is clear cut but this is wisdom for the journeyman, The wanderer, those without a home in a land quite hostile to them.I was recommended this book from my shooting buddies. It's teaches good manners and specific manners needed in the gun community. From conceal carry to larping, ypu will learn something from this poem especially it being broken down like this one has.

This version is much easier to understand, Crawford is known to be a leader in Norse knowledge and his translations are very easy to understand.

Just an excellent translation of the Hávamál, I find it interesting and useful. It's easy to read and it teaches you how to pronounce words in Old Norse.

Great, quality content. The book is smaller than I anticipated however, and so is a 'handy' size!
