Laboratory Manual for Principles of General Chemistry

Love the paper back manual. I found it more convenient to keep everything together without a binder. Much better then the loose leaf. Price was perfect for me compared prices and I couldn’t beat the one I got. It came in a reasonable amount of time. Very please with the product and quality.

I bought a copy from Better World Books for a fraction of the price my school's bookstore was selling it at. The pages were a different color and more delicate than my school's version, but the content was exactly the same. I would 100% recommend buying from the seller for any students looking to save money.

Do not make my poor mistake and buy a used lab manual. Coming from a low income family with just enough scholarships to cover everything but books, hear me out. The lab pages you need to actually record your answers, won't be there. All you have is lab procedures. I basically bought a $100 used lab manual that just tells me what to do and I have no way of seeing the questions or recording my answers, and I have no idea what to do. Don't be me. Be smart!

I had to purchase this manual for CHM111. I don't know what lab manuals are supposed to be like, but this one was organized and helpful. It had thorough instructions for all lab procedures and experiments.

Solid lab book on general chemistry. Much more economical than a school book store, and it arrived on time for my son's first assignments.

The laboratory manual is what you would expect. The language can sometimes be confusing, making the procedures hard to follow, but the introduction to the lab is often very help and allows you recall formulas and knowledge from reading the chapters in your text book. A lot of the problems are better worded than in the previous 9th edition as well. This makes it easier to understand what the book is asking. However, sometimes some questions are just to vague and yahoo answers will be a great resource if you cannot find what exactly is being asked. Overall, a better chemistry manual than I have dealt with before, but still has its shortcomings. The reference appendix is by far the most helpful resource.

I absolutely abhor black and white(manila-ish) books(ones where the text and images are black and the pages are manila-ish) of any kind when it comes to education of any sort. This comment has nothing to do with the seller-all they are doing is selling the product. Oh, how I wish the publisher would read this comment.
