This was bought as a gift but we opened it, tuned it and tested it first so we could demonstrate what it can do. It's so much fun, we'll be buying one for ourselves, too! It sounds very soothing and there are lots of songs online for you to learn. You do need to tune it upon receipt with the little hammer it comes with and using the tuning app they recommend (it's a free app). Then it remains in tune for a reasonable amount of time. It's pretty looking and sturdy and easy to pick up for beginners. Highly recommended!

My 11 yo son loves it. It is beautiful and has the notes nicely engraved on the tines. It was tuned very accurately, right out of the box. He would really like the same model with the addition of a pickup and connector to use with amplifiers or recording equipment. We have used this one with a violin contact pickup with excellent results. If you decide to put an electric variant into production "we could make a video of the prototype being played so you can promote it" 🤓💡(He is a homeschooler with big ideas Lol)
