AGV AX-8 Evo Naked Road Helmet

This is by far the best helmet I've owned! Granted all my other helmets have been around $300 or less, so comparing a $500 helmet may be slightly unfair to the others. I've had other "adventure" styled helmets and this one is also the best in that category. This is the first carbon fiber helmet I've owned and it is significantly lighter than my other composite ones. Alright, so...it is super light, doesn't catch wind when you shoulder check, interior materials are super plush (oh my is it comfy!!!), faceshield clarity and range of vision are superb, and ventilation is adequate (there aren't a ton of vents so it doesn't move massive amounts of air, but it moves enough to keep comfortable). I absolutely love this helmet and will likely be looking at more carbon helmets from AGV in the future, it is worth every penny (to me).

Great full-size helmet with a moto-cross feel. It has a more oval shape to it than traditional helmets. The fit is snug for my Asian head, like it should be, with no major pressure points. Visibility is very good and the light weight is a big plus. Some cons are the flimsy front/nose vent, the chin strap is not quick attach/release, and there's a bottom piece under your nose (to keep grim/dirt/wind out) that gets dislodged very easily.

Perfect helmet, very light and stylish. Don’t assume it comes with the black visor like in the picture though, it’s clear.

Great helmet. Very light and fits snugly but doesn't feel a vice grip on ur head. However even with 5 stars you have to get used to the anti fog piece on the inside of the helming from a view point of view. It doesn't obstruct your view but you definitely see it as you are looking thru your visor and takes a ride or two to get used to it.

People this is not real carbon fiber, it is just the same plastic material they use for all the helmets and they make it look like carbon fiber.I bought it thinking that I was going to receive a very lightweight helmet but it is just more of the same.The helmet is very badass the way how it looks with the tinted shield but other than that it has nothing special.Very disappointed with the false advertisement that amazon has been offering lately with most of their products

Needed a helmet since my old Scorpion EXO-700 was outside of it's recommended service life. I searched around for a suitable replacement and wanted something a little different, and this helmet fit that bill. Few issues with it though. The face shield isn't able to swap out without the use of tools, and it doesn't get completely out of your view when flipped up. The little chin wind defletctor will pop off as soon as you open your mouth, so I left it off. Biggest issue though is that this helmet is LOUD. I have to wear earplugs all the time with this helmet. But it looks cool and it's light.

The helmet is kind of small. (I'm used to the Arai Course Air X in a medium)I haven't ridden with it yet so I won't be able to rate that. The picture is deceiving.... It doesn't come with a smoked visor, and the vent in the center also doesn't exist on this helmet. (The two main parts of the look of this helmet that I was looking forward to)Aside from those gripes, the helmet is gorgeous, and very light. (Lighter than my Arai.)

helmet is sick, great for moving between an upright riding position and lower positions unders speed, the smoke shield is a must.
