Good book however the edge was damaged just a bit it doesn’t bother me however I know people collect them so beware of that

It’s worth the read especially if you watched season 1 of the anime. This volume goes much more in depth into the story. The anime rushed through this volume and crammed it all into 2 episodes. The novel was much less rushed and the story makes more sense.

Shido has barely recovered from his ordeal with Tohka, when Tohka moves into his house as a "training" method for him. When a new spirit girl appears in town in the middle of a rain storm, he has to risk his live again for the world and the poor spirit girls.I like the story for the over-the-top silly interaction and situations, much like part 1. While the characters (as of yet) are one dimensional, it is not exactly along the lines of the common tropes and they have made me curious about what exactly spirits are or Shido's past.At times I also dislike the story for the over-the-top silliness. The real irritant for me though is Shido's denseness, all the weirder because at times he is surprisingly insightful into other people's emotions, or his over-the-top embarrassment behaviour. Some of the odd behaviour you have to take at face value, not just the interaction with Shido, but to the world at large (such as for example why AST keeps fighting even though they have 0 chance of success). Still, any such situations should really not come as a surprise in Volume 2 of a series.Overall I dido enjoy reading the book just like Volume 1 and I will probably continue the series.

I can feel that the author is starting to get into a flow with the writing and where it’s going. I think it’s even better than volume 1, and I’d recommend this as a light hearted and fun harem-esc series. It never takes itself to seriously and that makes it fun and entertaining. Although light hearted and fun, it does have its moments of suspense and excitement. If you haven’t read volume 1 yet, I’d suggest starting from the beginning. Unfortunately it’s hard to say much about volume 2 without spoiling anything. But I will say that if you liked the first volume, you’ll enjoy this one even more. I will also say that it’s a lot better than the anime, but if you want to know if this series is for you, check out season 1 and watch the first episode or two. Enjoy

Just as charming as the first book! Can't wait for the next release

This book covers the couple of episodes where Yoshino is introduced in the anime. While Yoshino herself is very important to the plot, she doesn't really talk or interact with other characters much until near the end (though there is a plot reason as to why). On the whole the book is more of the same from the first book: great dialogue and funny situations,though they may be typical for this "type" of series (if you know what I mean). Sometimes the visual descriptions can be a bit lacking or even awkward in one case in the climax of the book, but this is definitely worth your time if you're a fan. The only negative this book has is that Yoshino's character is not explored much, which is disappointing considering how well Tohka and Origami are portrayed in both this book and the previous ones. Hopefully Yoshino will have more time dedicated to her in later novels.

This arc is probably one of the slowest in the whole series, this volume mostly serves to introduce new concepts and answer some doubts left in the first volume but it is definitely much slower in pace (or at least it feels that way).

Me ha parecido una excelente serie y ya había estado esperando a que salieran las novelas para adquirirlas, para mí es una excelente serie.

Pra quem quer acompanhar a novel, recomendo
